money missing from mail from auction house

according to the mails i received, i sold a lot of items. however, none of the mail has any money attached. i deleted one because i thought maybe i had already opened it. however, none of the mails have money. where is the money please?

General feeling is that it's old mail that has already had the money taken from them, and been deleted, reappearing. No official response yet though.

i looked quickly and didn't find it. however, the items are missing from my inventory and from my posting. and the mail date is today. i don't think it is old mail that reappears.

Hi, the other thread was started by me.

As of last night, the empty mails stopped arriving (for me); it seems to be AH sales from a period around the time of Mondays server update; I had one new/old mail with gold attached, so it seems a few mails over the update were bjorked, but SS are sorting them out.

Stuff I posted AFTER the update have all worked correctly. The empty mails all had that days time-stamp on them, which makes them look like new mails.

Alts that werent active around the time of the update havent had the empty mails, even when they had AH sales mails waiting to be opened. I hadnt logged into my oldest alt for over a month; I had forgotten he had a dozen AH waiting.

If you are F2P and dont have the unlocked wallet, anything sold (via AH or NPC), that takes you over the 2G cap will be lost; this is a real bummer, and something SS need to urgently address, either by reinstating the overflow, or raising the F2P gold cap to a more realistic level.

Have a problem taking what is attached from the mails I received

I am missing coinage from all my toons. different amounts. I logged out on one with over 3 gold, and today when I logged in on that toon, it was down to 1g + some silver... This happens on ALL my toons, all the time! and some of my bag items go missing too. it's like someone is raiding my characters! YES, I do change my password @ few months. HELP PLEASE!?

Changing your password will not stop others from accessing your account, if they can read what you are entering into the launcher (which means, there is either a keylogger on your system, or someone can read your input, that is sitting between your computer and the internet). The third possibility is that a family member found the spot where you noted your login, and read it. Little siblings can at times be a nuisance.

If there were a leak in the company servers, things would look quite different. I've seen that in other cases, where players complained left and right as soon as the weekend started, because the hackers knew that there was no 24/7 service, and would always plunder the characters when the company workers could not be reached.

Yet I haven't heard of other people with such problems, so I would rather look for a local spy, and eliminate the possibility that this person can access your account. As you didn't give any further details, I cannot give you any advice beyond this one. Good luck.

My 6 y/o got into my account and used up all my Mithril coins, bombing around using the Stable horse system. Various saddle bags got emptied as well, and all my LM pets got names like MUMMYDADDYHEIDI.

My fault for not removing my account log-in details from her PC.
