Hello, I am coming back to LOTRO after quite a long break. I have recovered one of my two old accounts that i used to play. Unfortunately, this account had no characters so I had to start a new one. I primarily played monster-play back then. I have another old account in which i know the username but not the password. However the tricky problem I am running into is that i have no idea which email i used when creating this account back then, or if i even still have access to said email. This is likely a long shot but i was wondering if there was a way to recover this account and what would be required of me. Also, would this account still have any of its freep or creep characters still?
the account propably exists but if you cant remember your mail i dont think its possible to retreat it.....
now about the characters ...........
if they were in the deleted servers n you didnt move them when you suppose to do it,
they r deleted
lotr enthousiast since 1996, over 12 years lotro player, lifetimer, Loyal member of the Spartans Kinship and Subleader, now in Evernight imigrants from Eldar

No characters have been deleted by Turbine/SSG. Characters left on any of the closed servers should still be possible to transfer to one of the open servers for free.
I have the same issue as the op, returning after a VERY long absence(hell it was still turbine owned when i last played) but my info is awol, though I've turned the house upside down looking for the original info. Even tried to post a request directly to SSG but it won't recognize my last cc digits(even the cc may have changed, i honestly don't remember). It's a terrible waste since I had a lifetime membership as well as dlc's and many perks that aren't available to a new member(warden class access for example) and that's why i decided, what the heck, why not go back and play. All the info I have are my personal info, cc info(if it's still recognizable) and a possibility of 3 e-mails I used as my account. I even have my old discs with registration numbers I could use to track the original account.
There must be another way to contact SSG other than the request form, is there no phone support available?

First part I dont understand, second part is easy.
To help reduce the number of spammers getting into the forums, they have a limit of when and where you can post; once the mods think you are a real player and not a spammer, they will give you full access. The reason this is done to old players returning after many years is because of a forum hack a few years ago; lots of old accounts have been compromised, so every reactivated account gets classed as a new account if it has been inactive for long enough.
Sadly Baba Ji seems able to out think them, and breaks in every now and then, regardless of the precautions.
Absolutely Beside Myself and Desperate - Unable To Login Either
It has now been nine whole days since I have submitted a Support Ticket to SSG. The Ticket Number is #79231. I have done absolutely everything to ensure that the fault is not client-side on my computer. I believe that my account has been frozen or suspended due to repeated password reset attempts. I cannot login to the account management page, the LOTRO Client, or the forums, on my primary account. I have entered valid password resets multiple times. I have received the message on the Account management website "Password change successful," or whatever it is specifically. However, I do not receive any confirmation e-mails saying that the password successfully reset.
Investigation of my Launcher logs indicates SSL errors 0,1, and 2 - "no trusted certificate," and "certificate invalid," etc. I have reinstalled the LOTRO client five times this week. I have installed all the DirectX and Visual C++ components and updates. I have a clean uncorrupted install of Windows 10. I have ran the LOTRO client as administrator. I have taken several other exhaustive and painfully long steps to ensure that the problem is not on my client -side.
I have updated my ticket three times these last nine days. I have included a copy-paste of my launcher log, as well as every conceivable piece of billing information, birth date, and every other possible verification property that I can possibly think of, including a picture of myself from my MA State ID. I have never account shared. I have never bought from 3rd party vendors. I have never violated TOS. I have been playing off and on for almost five years.
In my primary account, I have almost every expansion, and at least one level 120 max character. My primary account name is solson8691. My server is Arkenstone. My main character name is Thupinas (hobbit hunter, level 120).
I am absolultely beyond frustration to the point of sheer exhaustion at this point. I am beginning to convince myself that this situation is hopeless. There is no phone number to call SSG like Turbine had back in the day years ago. I did everything - e-mailed every conceivable e-mail address for SSG support I could find. I even IM'ed SSG on Facebook. At 12:30 PM EST today, they replied to my IM and asked for my ticket number. I got confirmation on Facebook that it was seen at 1:10 PM. There has been no further activity since then.
I don't really want pity, but I was recently diagnosd with cancer - Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I had my second chemotherapy treatment on Wednesday, February 20, 2019. Since my original diagnosis on January 14, my whole life has been filled with medical appointments, oncology follow-ups, test after test, and even minor surgery. I just wanted to play some LOTRO to take my mind off of the fact that I am battling cancer. I am 51 years of age, and although I can chat with my kin on Discord, it is not the same when you cannot play LOTRO with your kin. I do have a new account that I logged into so I could post this, but of course, it has nothing on it, and it is just not the same.
I am very depressed tonight. I want to keep fighting my cancer, but this monumental exhaustion is creeping in at the moment as I am still hoping beyond hope that SSG will ever answer my ticket. I do apologize if I appear cloying or whining. I just want to enjoy LOTRO once again on my primary account. Is that too much to ask of SSG? I think there must be at least one empathic Dev or Game Master that can at least answer my ticket - #79231. If I am perma-banned for some reason that was not my fault, then so be it. I will have to accept that and just move on, realizing that Standing Stone Games is capricious, completely insensitive, and unfair to its customer base. But I still want to believe that somehow there are humans at SSG, some vestige of humanity that will understand my plight and do something concrete and real about it very soon.
Thank you for reading my post and listening. Perhaps this missive will finally garner the answer that I have literally been praying to God for an answer this week. Thank you once again.
Best,
Scott Michael Olson

I feek your pain; whislt suffering from Trigeminal Neuralgia, LOTRo was the only thing that kept me sane.
One quick thought about your issue.
As you 100% certain that the email address used by the account is still the one you use today? I have had instances where I have lost old forum accounts with other providers because I forgot to update the email address after changing ISP.
it only takes a few password resets to trigger an auto-block, I managed to trigger one myself last week on my ISPs control panel, entered the wrong password 3 times and BOOM IP blocked.
Now I have the embarrassment of phoning up to get it unblocked again; the 2nd time in 6 months!!
(nerve damage from the drugs means I hit the wrong keys more than I used to, but with stars in the password box, you dont realise).
Well, I finally got a response from SSG today. Unfortunately, it was from the Management for Fraud! Apparently, I had disputed some charges on the credit card associated with my LOTRO account and billing over the last few months. Evidently, one of my LOTRO purchases somehow got snared in the net when the bank was investigating the dispute. So, the product key for the LOTRO purchase was returned, thus causing SSG to flag my primary account for alleged fraud, and lock it. I had to pay about $56 today to pay for the purchase that was alleged to be fraud. It really was not very fair, but at least I have my primary account released, and I can play again on it. I am very thankful and grateful that I am able to play on my primary account. However, I believe my sense of confidence has been permanently shaken, and I will always be looking over my shoulder, just to make I sure I am not further punished for something that I did not do. Hopefully, I will have no further account issues, and life will move on. It took almost 12 days to get this fixed, but thankfully, it is resolved.

Glad to hear you got it sorted.
Word of warning, keep a VERY close eye on that bank account; even if a new credit card with a new number has been issued.
I suffered card fraud a few years ago on a £20K card. Reported it, got the card stopped and refunded; filled in all the paperwork, got confirmation the paperwork had been received , and went on my merry way.
A year later and my account suddenly shows similarly huge transactions, so called the fraud line, got the card stopped etc.
The bank had forwarded my paperwork to a 3rd party dealing with the fraud, lost it, so just put the fraudulent transactions back through my account!!
