New to Beo and have few questions.

Hi all, so far i am enjoying Beo a lot when it comes to survival and i can solo pretty much anything. I am playing red line but i would like to know few things.

    1. Why is every red line bonus for bear form and i only have like 2 skills+aoe for it? I mean i do not shapeshift to bear that often and do most of my dps in man form from bleeds...
    2. Is the class meant to be played by shapeshifting all the time?
    3. How is Boe tanking?

Thanks in advance for any info

    1. Before beo update in December 2018, the beo could only spend the wrath in bear form. This means that you need to build up some wrath first. Therefore you start with more human skill to gain more wraith. Also, the trash in old day cost 5/10/15 wrath for tier 1/2/3 and today you gain 5 wrath for each tier. Thus there was quicker wrath burn before update in comparison to today.

    2. The red line yes. The max dps is achieved by shapeshipping the forms. The yellow line has big heal burst if switched in bear form, but still, you are constantly switching form. The tank line (blue) is pure bear line. You simply build up 100 wrath before combat and then you never need to go in human form.

    3. Good. The guardian has better emergancy skills and captian is better in solo boss tanking while keeping some good buffs for the group. The beo has the easiest threat management. So, guardian and captain might be somewhat better, but you can still tank even the more difficult content. I tanked t2 anvil without any bigger issues (outside of my missing tank experience) and I would say there are some beos who are able to tank t3 content.

Okay thanks for info, but can i play red line without shifting? How much would that decrease my dps? I really dislike having to shift back and fort all the time -_-"

It depends on what you want to do.

For landscape/solo play - play as you wish.

For instances - the beo isn´t good dd there, so you need to tank or heal in this content.

And, in general, if you don´t wish to shapeshift, don´t you want to try a champion class instead? Shapeshifting is a mechanic for beo and it is build around the idea that beo is stronger in bear form. Not using it is ... strange for me.

And if you wish to stay in human form, maybe you can choose a class which is permanently in human form?
