Free to Play but get subscription not found when I try to launch game from steam

what gives i thought i didn't need a subscription to play. Had played long tiem ago with turbine am in United States was able to log in and play yesterday no problem.

Same problem......I can't log in either "No subscription for LOTRO found"

This isn't the only post from 2018 that got completely ignored .....is anyone here?

No subscription found just means your username isn't recognised, not that you need to pay to play. If you're sure you are using the correct username and can't log in then you need to contact support here - https://help.standingstonegames.com/hc/en-us
