    Bingo quest problems????

Before the patch today I was able to complete Bingo's quests as far as I wanted - ergo until the Lone Lands. This was on two characters.

Today, after the patch, I was attempting his quests on another character for the first time and was only able to complete the chain "The Call to Adventure" and then he just stood there with no more quests for me. I re-logged thinking maybe it was just an issue with my game, but when I logged back in he's not even at his house now for me to get the "Training for a Journey" quests. He just went poof and disappeared.

Is this a bug or is it intentional that we can only do one weekly quest of his at a time now? I really enjoyed being able to do most of his quests at level with my other two characters to now have 1 character be way over-leveled when I get the next set of weeks quests is annoying and disappointing, to say the least. If this was how Bingo's quests were going to be set-up again, why did you allow us to complete more than just the first week when you installed him on these legendary servers in the first place?

    Edit to add: Anor server.

I can't answer your question but I did suspect, after Bingo appeared on the Leg servers before the patch, that someone had perhaps turned him on early. So, it wouldn't surprise me if the patch reset him to being weekly. Haven't checked on Bingo myself today but I did get him to Buckland yesterday.

Edit: Just did the Bingo quest in Buckland to find all the Boffins and didn't get another quest. Bingo seems to have gone dead.

Though he's still got that goofy smile.

    Lightbulb

Well the patch note reads as follow.

    I QUOTE:

    "Update 23.1.5 Release Notes

    Quests and Adventure Areas

    • The Bingo Boffin quests are now active! These quests will increment weekly, but stop after 24 weeks for now."

    /END QUOTE

If I read that right it means that Bingo Boffin quest line will now be released and work more or less as it did when it was first released on live/regular servers. Meaning not all quests will be released at once but over time, piece by piece, week by week. Like a story unfolding.

So keep checking for new Bingo quests each week.

Yes. However. Bingo quests were actually turned on, on the Legendary servers, the day before the patch. I and the OP (and no doubt many others), were able to do more than one week's worth of Bingo quests before the patch.

Plus I now have no idea when the next quest in my queue will trigger.

So. Standard SSG, really. (Left hand, meet right hand)

I was able to complete my quests up till the Forsaken Inn as well, because that is where I ended up right before the patch. After the patch, I finished my quest with him there, and turned it in..... and no more new quests.

I suspect indeed that Bingo was turned on a wee bit too early, and the patch to reset it to weekly quests. I don't mind that, the only thing I need to remember is to go BACK to the lone lands, once it comes back there..... That was always the problem when Bingo was live back in the day.... I never remembered where I was, so I had to go searching for him a few times after I neglected a toon or two for a few months.
Moved from Riddermark to Arkenstone on 9/29/2015!

Answer: Because the tech underlying Bingo on the Legendary Servers operates differently than it does elsewhere, thanks to many moving parts, and closing the floodgates took a day or so. He's on Week 3 now, I believe ('Sink or Swim'), so if you check your quest log to find the furthest Bingo quest you completed, you'll know how many weeks ahead you were able to get during that unexpected sneak preview season.

LOL, yeah, made it all the way to the Weathertop one before the patch came through - at least on two of my three characters.

I really wish he hadn't been moved to these weekly updates though, as I'll now be well over level when he does catch back up and I was enjoying doing his quests on-level. Any chance they may change their minds and open him up to prior to going into Moria? Then when Moria hits they can do that one and close him down again until the next updated area? This way we can do his quests on-level.

Signed. I'd like to do the Bingo questline on level this time, too. As I'm sure a lot of folks would.

I know Bingo was stopped for week 24, iirc, but now that the Legendary servers have made it to Moria/Lothlorien, can his quests continue to week 30? Week 31 he'd be in Mirkwood so I'd assume his quests would continue when that opens for us.

I just ran this quest last night on Anor without problems and ran it as far as about the 5th quest at Tom Bombadils house. I stopped because the next quest in the chain was lvl 22 and my PC was only lvl 15. I did check with the special merchant across from the Michael Delving stable and he gave the correct whereabouts of Bingo.
I ran the same quest back in late november - early december with my main PC and it just went dead at one point. Being a n00b to the game, I got the impression that the halting was part of the story in that Bingo didn't have the courage to quest on - doh & lol! I'm glad it's now fixed, but I would have enjoyed it earlier because story and narrative are important to me. Anyhow...glad I get to enjoy the full meal deal now.

Did the Bingo quest not update this week? Spalvi isn't in Gwingris

I finished Dour Faces in Gwingris two weeks ago, and it hasn't updated for me since.

Alas,Alas for my Luminous Lady the quest seem bugged or magically the Bingo is nowhere to be found.

The next quest should be Brood of Boffins and I am standing exactly where he should be, but Nay. I've checked every place, re logged and did not helped. I am certain because I've seen my finished quest log.

The bug must incredibly rare its the first it ever happened to me personally.

Matters not, me will finish it on Landroval server.

Spalvi is missing again this week. Did they change the day the chain updates, or is it bugged again?

I've been stuck at quest 34 A Restful Night. I thought maybe I had to wait a week before I was allowed to continue the next quest. However, Bert still won't tell me where Bingo is. I put in a ticket, and the reply was this: Your report indicates a known issue. This issue is being investigated by our development team. Unfortunately the In-Game Support team does not have any additional information about this issue and cannot provide you with a resolution at this time. The legendary servers are being ignored when it comes to problems like this. Bingo's quests haven't worked properly for a few weeks now. Our Battle of Lorien completions got reset for some unexplained reason, and the entire server is having to regrind them to reopen the sentinel quests. Add in the noticeable decrease in people logging in, and it doesn't bode well for the long term.
