How about this from The Hobbit, when Bilbo and the dwarves are attacked by spiders in Mirkwood?

“Soon there came the sound of “Lazy Lob” and “Attercop” from among the trees away on the right. That upset the spiders greatly. They stopped advancing, and some went off in the direction of the voice. “Attercop” made them so angry that they lost their wits.”

    Lovely!

Oh by the way, from Wiktionary:

    Attercop

From Middle English attercoppe, from Old English atorcoppe (“spider”) (> Old Danish etærkop, ederkoppæ > Danish edderkop (“spider”)), corresponding to atter (“poison, venom”) + cop (“spider”). The latter is still to be found in the English word cobweb. Cognate to Dutch etterkop (“peevish or ill-natured person”).

OK, this one sounds a bit mean, but I'll use inverted commas to try and mitigate the meanness:

    Union of the "rejects"

I’m an alien, an illegal alien: I’m a Gondorian Captain in Rohan...

    Hmmm

    I already had this thought...

Maybe the question should be: How did the marriage of Faramir and Eowyn come about?

She had a crush on Aragorn, who would yet marry Arwen, and he was the less favourite son of Denethor, who preferred Boromir. After Faramir being hit by a Morgul dart, and the ensuing ordeal in the Silent Street, and Eowyn's fight with the Witch King, both were severely injured, and had to recover in the houses of healing. After some time, they both went into the gardens for a breath of fresh air, met there, and began to talk. Finally they became a couple.

Well, I'll try my best. Shouldn't be too difficult.

His father walked into war with a coming king, but only his son knew that.

    Who is Theoden?

Aragorn (going by the name Thorongil) went to war with Theoden's father Thengel when Theoden was a child.

Neither Thengel, nor Theoden, or Theodred, learnt that Aragorn would be king. The 'son' is the son of the person I am looking for; the father of said person was more or less the topmost commander of Thorongil...

    What is Cat?

    Starts like this...

The fat cat on the mat
    may seem to dream
    of nice mice that suffice
    for him, or cream;

Yeah, that was as easy as I thought it was, but I couldn't resist the opportunity to call that guy an orifice.

Good try but not what I was looking for. 'Mountains of Tyranny' is actually a literal translation of the particular range I'm thinking of.
