Ruins of the Trollshaws deed

I for the life of me can't seem to figure out how to get to amon varadh and from there minas ciliant for the deed. I can see the ruins of amon varadh from where I'm currently standing in game but I can't seem to find a specific route or entrance into the area - it's always these darn hills and mountains that seem to be blocking my way to actually getting where I want to go. I know LOTRO-wiki website suggests the easiest way to get there is rounding the cliffs clockwise from Calenthon, but that is kinda vague, and I've rounded the cliffs as much as possible and still can't seem to find a way in. Any help please?

Face Calenthon. Go left (north). At the end of the cliff, where the path splits left and right, look for a path up a slope to your right. Go up and through the ruins at the top and explore.
