    Tower of Orthanc bugs/balancing

I've been meaning to make a post about this for a little while, but after completing all of Orthanc t2c recently, my group and I have noticed some new bugs that only appeared after being released on Anor. Fire and Frost now has a bug, where if you reduce a Giants rage(killing opposite element grim under a Giant) and then kill it, it causes the Giant's body to not despawn properly. For as long as the Giant's dead body sits there, the same Giant will not clap(the ability that spawns grims), completely stopping a challenge group's attempts until it decides to despawn. I've never ran into this problem in the last 3-4 years ive been doing Orthanc off and on, and my group has had very limited success in trying things to speed up the despawn process. The other bug is in Shadow t2c. Every time a defiler finishes an induction, there is a small chance that the challenge randomly fails. The wall of light still closes properly, but every time this has happened to us, it is nowhere even close to consuming the throne. Obviously, neither of these bugs are game breaking, but they are still very annoying to encounter.

Even with these two new bugs, I would like to thank you for (seemingly) listening to my last forum post regarding the balancing of Orthanc. It's absolutely amazing. The mobs morale forces you to encounter the actual mechanics of the fights, regardless of how high your group's dps is, and the amount of damage they put out forces you to always be on your toes. It's the perfect median between prenerf and postnerf Ost Dunhoth. The most fun I've had in Orthanc in a while.

As stated by OP I am incredibly grateful for the changes made to the Isengard Cluster. Regarding the Instances this was truly a chance "to go back" or in my case to experience an update of lotro "commonly regarded as succesful" in an overall well functioning state. With a progression of approx. 1.5 months we were able to clear all challenges and continue to run several Instances and ToO T2C to this day. Please continue this trend of adjustments and revision.

Regarding the bugs - none are gamebreaking BUT they do hinder progression, especially for those less set on figuring it out. Apparent "random" failure of Challenges and the inability to reset Boss-Fights in traditional ways can really deter a raid and did cost us several hours of headaches and raid-nights ending before schedule. Whether you fix those for this update or double-check for the next - continued polishing of the endgame on the LS is both, appreciated and necessary for the overall health of said servers.

I really hope the LS survives all the way through gondor as well. The 85 cap will be interesting since that is the cap I barely played, also to do epic battles at level 90 on cap will be cool, especially with some friends that never did it.

It will be interesting to see how the population will look once MM is out. And I wonder when or if we will get pvmp.

Lvl 85 was interesting because the Loot System back then made you run all kinds of instances. Every cluster had a couple of useful gold pieces for some classes. Without that I doubt it will be as successful as Mirkwood/Isengard

Gondor had Throne, but that is still kinda fresh in everyone's mind

Can you keep this thread specific to Tower of Orthanc and the fixes that should be done to it.
