quest not credited

I defeated the Overseer in Barad Arthir to finish the quest Into the Crack of Despair. The rangers were entering but before I could speak to one (the next step in the quest), I succummed to what must have been a lingering wound. When I reentered Barad Arthir, all enemies were back as if I hadn't finished or even begun. If a dev reads this, can I get the credit for the quest or do I really have to start it all over again?

I think it would be much faster if you do it again. Sometimes things like that happen. Instead of waiting for a response, start the quest again and get your reward.

I'll probably have to. But it took me at least a half dozen tries over two days, and I don't really want to spend the time again. I put a ticket up in the game and I'll wait to see if there's any response there.
