Not just crit deviation? Any idea what is different?
No idea what's different. Maybe finesse wasn't being applied properly before or something along those lines. I had stopped using Execute altogether...but used it sparingly today...and grabbed some 90k hits today with about 50% wrath.
Recently noticed this thread, there are some very good ideas mentioned for red line.
Rise up red bears, and take what is yours!
At the moment a beorning skilled in redline is just a joke, no good single DPS, no AoE. Only Selfheal is nice. Vastin should definitly take a look and write down some of the ideas mentioned, it really doesn't take much to make red bear viable for end content as DPS class.
But we need enough people who complain about the state of red line beorning, otherwise nothing will ever change (sadly).
Red line is there to allow us to get the level and gear for being blue or yellow.
Many classes have the same issue.
In hindsight I would never have made a red LI, absolute waste of time.
When was the last time a red bear did a 3 man instance, let alone a 6 man or raid.
I accept that my bear has to be a healer or a tank, or both.
Luckily my burg has red AOE skills now and is my favourite toon.
Red beornings are perfectly fine for 3-man-instances since they do not rely on any support from other classes. They also do not benefit that much from better gear like champions do because of their huge %-based buffs to critical chance and mastery. Combined with 300k+ health, heavy armour, a 40% selfheal on a 14s cd, a bunch of cc, decent st and aoe damage we are in a pretty good spot for all the new instances. You won't kill mobs as quickly as a burglar/warden/rk but definitely faster than hunter/champ while having way more defenses than said classes.
