For anyone that still checks these boards, PVP is still alive & well (relatively speaking) on Arkenstone.

There are a number of us still around, playing daily...or coming back after breaks.

Rev, Grog, Casi, Westmiss, Tautu, Healtry, Lilmatty, Knappy, Ugh, etc...

I know there's quite a few more, but I was never the social butterfly and I'm sure many names are escaping me atm.

Also, dankness.

There's raids out on both sides most days, zergs, solos, 1v1s.

Lot of Delving action.

It's all still happening.

And of course...me.

Come find me & say hi.

Or maybe I'll find you first.

I still provide free trips to the nearest rez circle.

Either way....xfer your toon(s) and bring the fight...

During prime time hours Monday through Thursday, I'll typically see at least 20 players on the map... Thursdays, oftentimes, a lot more than that. Fridays and weekends, I'd say prime time typically has 40 to 60 players on the map. There are regular 1v1s at GG for those that enjoy that. I solo on my RK everyday there for the last 2 years..... I see soloers on both freep and creep side quite a bit. I'll group up on creep side sometimes when freeps have big numbers. Tuesday, I was playing my defiler in a craid of 18. Freeps tracked were 29 at high mark. Please, if you're considering leaving because of lack of activity, try Arkenstone before you do so!

It's cool you guys have carved out your little niche on Ark, where you fight the same people day in day out. Reading the forums you can see theres no doubt that some players think steamrolling hapless creeps makes them kick ### pvp'rs, so have fun if you enjoy it.

But i'd hardly call 50 players on the !!! MAXIMUM HARDCORE PVMP !!!! only server a few hours a week a thriving pvp environment, and the Devs give out time and effort accordingly.

Still, it'll be interesting to see when the new essence and gear/class changes roll out where creeps stand then. and of course, a couple months after that, a new raid with more new gear and probably a new level or stat cap is just around the corner.

Perhaps that'll be the long elusive "balance" for freeps that devs look at to scale creeps against?

Anyways, Lotro's still got alot to offer and i enjoy raiding,questing, etc etc, But PvMP is not the test for end game it used to be and i doubt it will ever be again.

well played Creeps are always kind of right in the middle, able to blast T1 freeps, helpless against T3 freeps. By T3freeps i mean a co-ordinated group that plays and supports each other apropiately . most peeps that enjoy a level playing field and pvp for competitive reasons have moved on.

So again i would say that PvMP only armor/gear for freeps, usable in the moors instance ONLY, and balanced against current level creeps is the only hope and that will never happen.

Heh, looking back, we did have some good times. I wasn't in it the longest though, but if any people from back then are having a good time over on Arkenstone, then I'm glad. Enjoy yourselves :-)

talking about Evernight and freeps mostly.........
last week was great in the moors ......
we had freeps and many creeps, more than enough some times .........
till last night cos of the update, only a dozen creeps and no more than 5-7 freeps,
from 20:00 till 23:00 (gmt+2), when most of the creeps lefted
i believe in a day or 2 there will be again many people from both sides
