Question Lvl 70 yellow burg convert. Best trait points and LI legacies post u23.5?

I am a recent convert to the Yellow Burg way of life. My level 70 burg played mostly as a solo Red, but I love how the yellow line has played over the last month. Now I am playing catch up with knowledge of trait points and LI legacies to make sure I'm not missing any low hanging fruit.

What do you not spend trait points on in the yellow line?

Thus far I have avoided Counter Defense, Self Adulation, Clever Retort, & Opportunist. Anything else to include/exclude?

As far as non imbued LI legacies go, I see Quite a Snag Damage Bonus, Mischievous Glee Healing, Tricks Duration are all yellow line specific and beneficial. Is the yellow minor legacy Trick & Trick Removal Damage worth using? Any other must haves besides the 2 Bleed and the 3 Crit Skill/Chain legacies?

Upon imbuing, what burg legacies suddenly go from useless to must have?

I would say thanks for helping out a burg, but while we were talking I picked your pocket!

I haven't been able to find a lot of updated burg information since the 2019 burg class rebalancing/revamp, but I did find this post-U23.5 video specific to yellow burgs.

    From the wiki

"Using Trickster and applying more than one trick means that when you use Clever Retort, you remove both (tricks) and perform both FMs simultaneously, unlike the mixed FM that a fellowship performs.

The initial description (of Clever Retort) makes it appear that it is chance based, and the original version of this guide claimed that as well. It is not based on chance at all. The trick you remove (usually the last one you performed successfully) determines what the fake FM will be:

    Disable: Green FM (heal)
Dust in the Eyes: Blue FM (power restore)
Enrage: Yellow FM (damage over time)
Counter Defence: Red FM (instant damage) "

I'm guessing that the heal and DOT resulting from the use of Clever Retort are not as valuable to many yellow burgs as maximizing the uptime of the of Disable and Enrage with the help of Trickster (45s cd).

I'm hoping some other experienced yellow burgs could provide more best practices on post-U23.5 setups.

I tend to use clever retort when trickster has about 5 seconds left on cool down so I can reapply disable immediately then straight trickerster and disable again
