NPCs refusing to show up for both the Epic and the new regional quest arc (Léothred in Avabarg, Reithvald in Erebor), so I cannot pursue either (and don't tell me it's my computer or my internet connection). This is so badly put out, so badly designed I'm not even sure the people who find it appealing have their eyes open. It's just a rehash of whatever tripe we've been fed before, of which the reuse of icons isn't even the worst part. Then what with so many issues reported during the beta and SSG not even acknowledging them, none of these should be surprising (on that note: why not spend a few more weeks polishing things up, in an unstressed atmosphere rather than rush yet another patch in a few days while stressing out your team?). Then again, I shouldn't facepalm every other minute at the blatant inefficiency of the SSG team, with their imbecility crowned in the Moors. Their idea of rebalancing is not even laughable because it is actually harmful to the current raid and instances on higher tiers. Their trying to reduce the lag is laudable, but failed completely. Last but more cherished in my eyes is regarding the lore. SSG has done such a botched job at this that I need to -- not "have to" -- leave. Frumgar, Marhwine as Rohirric names? Really? Then you speak to this Frumgar because you want to learn more about Rohirric history and it says only "I am honoured to meet you." (Not to mention the fact that as the clickable "place of history" didn't appear I had to relog, quite the immersion-breaker). This has to be a belated April Fool's joke, right?

This game hasn't aged well, that's a fact. But what you're doing right now, SSG, is actually straining the lore, and the patience of your players, to such extremities as to be damageable to teh entire community. We came for the lore, for the movies, for the MMO aspect of the game. Whichever it is, you failed miserably to satisfy many of us, even moderately, because your greed knows no bounds, and you wanted to milk the cow to the very last drop.

Good luck to everyone sticking around, and I do hope the game remains for those with lower standards or who choose to turn a blind eye... To those staying: I admire your pugnacity if you do, or pity your stubbornness in equal measure.
http://tolkiengateway.net/wiki/Frumgar - Frumgar is real, same for Marhwini

P.S. All 3 dwarf "heroes" in New Erebor working fine yesterday

Devs, please help us by fixing the launcher, it's not working for all of us. We've been trying since Thursday. "An update error occurred: Unknown error: 0xffffffff80043038"

edit: bug report submitted. Reinstalling game did NOT solve problem, launcher error still present and unresolvable.

Patching is failing on my wife's computer and my own. We had no problems until our internet service went from 3Mb service to 100Mb service, now the launcher stops downloading with no progress to patching the files (restarting over and over gains nothing), and launcher states "download 100% complete" and launcher closes. Running in Admin does not help or change anything. Replacing the LotroLauncher.exe file with an older version hasn't helped. Adding LotroLauncher.exe to firewall again does nothing. Turning down the User Account Control setting to lowest does not help. Windows 7, FireFox browser, DirectX 9.0c. UAC interfering with launcher action.

We had problems with last patch as well. Tooks us an hour to get the patch going last patch, this time no success. Game after last patch ran fantastic with our new bandwidth, no problems with connectivity or bandwidth with any other programs/apps/services.

Can we get some new images for the return to icons. Dale and Udun are still the same and now Estolad Lan and Limlok are the same. It is something small, but would be nice.

The shoulders on the new anniversary armour are not dyable, unlike the other pieces. Also there's no way to buy the warsteed pieces as gifts, but last years can be (which means you wouldnt have to buy it with mithril coins for yourself)

The northern waterfall we are looking at in 2.2 seems to be a slimefall, given the speed that the water falls down.
An alternative solution is changed local gravity.

Mobs seem to follow for quite a long time (again). This is meaningless server load. If I do not want to stop, there is no chance that a mob can change my mind.

Lost Lore of the Great Alliance had a full rollback in its progress. Had to re-collect all the pages I had already obtained prior to the patch.

Decreased FPS - but I'll prob just fiddle with some options to get it back to an improved performance

Rewards for the quest "Running Wild" are named incorrectly. The light armour items are called "greaves" and the heavy armour items are called "shoes."

Quest: The history of Avabarg: when the young rohirrim king meets Saruman, the latter has the multi coloured robe, while the robe should still be white back then.

That's probably one of the actual correctly animated waterfalls. Most of them fall way too fast, since the game launched. They've done more realistic waterfalls since, but haven't applied the new tech to old waterfalls.

    Quest Saving the Beasts

The gundabad wargs respawn instantly, and the goats respawn in a few seconds. You can do the whole quest in under a minute, one one goat.

    Launcher crash fix

For those of you having trouble with the launcher crashing and not coming back up, I was able to get it working again on my wife's account by going into the Lord of the Rings Online folder, sorting the .dat files by date modified, and deleting the most recently modified.
Start the launcher again and it will download the file you deleted and then restart the patch. Unfortunately I had to do this process several times (at least a dozen) as every time it crashed, it required the same fix.
It was time consuming, but eventually it finished patching and it plays just fine.

Also came to note that I can't track resource nodes on the mini-map either, but I see it's been mentioned several times.

Good luck everyone, I hope this helps.

I have an issue with the mist and clouds being far too in your face and clashing with the rest of the landscape.
Yes, I'm shilling my own thread, it contains screenshots of what I'm talking about.

It's great to see that the bluenames are looking into issues, I expect some patches in the future that should fix things, I really want them to look into this too.

The river in shulgmokh is flowing quite fast against the shore.

The mist in the northern parts seems too solid.

There is a spelling error in the dialogue of the leader (mob) at the end of the instance in Sundergrot. Sorry, I forgot to bug it in game, but will on my next run through the region.

    The leader says, that "Gundbad has no . . . . " instead of Gundabad has no . . . ..

This seems to be a more generic issue. First a correction: those wargs don't spawn instantly but in 3 seconds.
Similar situation in Thithroz, but worse: you have to deal with a bunch of bats there. Especially melee classes struggle because they respawn faster than they can be killed.

Also: Limlok Bounty board is empty.
Barterable recipes all have the cook's icon.
Guide to Limlok icon is the same as Estolad Lan's

    Two Warden bugs.

    1) Heals have not been rescaled to compensate for loss of Fate crits. In fact it appears that the heals are less than before.

    2) Secondary, chance-based DoTs from single-target light attacks (Precise Blow, Piercing Strike, and Spear of Virtue) are much, much lower than they used to be compared to the bas DoT.

    Dailys

Great to make the dailies in areas that don't have yarn, only one area where you have to kill gilwite is there to discover, not a single bounty task is shown on the map and then I have 1 hour to find the needle in the haystack, this is the worst update ever

You don't have to find anything. Just click the bounty board, and enter instance, then leave instance and click bounty board to hand it in. Treat the bounty board like you would an NPC.

What is the main folder called? I am a noob at most computer stuff, but I can bungle through. I found the game folder in the Program files, I just need to know where the main folder is. I see the backup folder. Thanks for your help
