    Thumbs up

I really liked this update! More than a year (since work on the Vales of Anduin was announced) I wanted to see Framsburg and learn more about the Eotheod. The storyline with Rohan scholar is nice, the history of Eotheod from Avabarg to Framsburg made great, liked everything, was impressed by a complete re-creation of a line of Eotheod chiefs. The only thing I was missing was the story of Fram and Scatha, but I think we should wait for it in the future. Thanks!

I actually enjoyed going through the new epic that I didn't have a jumble of quests thrown at me every second. It allowed me to enjoy the new area a bit before the more grindy quests kicked in once I started the quests from Beorn.

Thumbs up Much less lag for me

Whatever the fix was for lag, it helped me immensely. Yes there is still some lag in places (Minas Tirith is still slow) but I can now go through Minas Morgul without stopping to dance for 30 seconds with a mob before I can hit it. I'll see if it's the same in the new area this weekend.

Hey. I just wanted to let you know that the lag is far worse with this patch. When I run Anniversary quests in Bree Town, it can take over a minute for the citizens and objects to phase in. It seems like every player character coming close triggers a lag spike and locks me up for a few moments. Most player characters now spend a lot of time in their underwear, if I see them at all. Quest givers and quest objectives also take quite a while to phase in. Perhaps worse of all, if I ride from one part of Bree Town to another and back, my computer forgots everything and needs to reload everything which triggers a new round of lag. If I click on a quest object and dismount, then remount, the computer forgots what my horse looked like and lags. Perhaps most crazy of all, I now lag inside my home. To be clear, I can still complete quests and horse races. Quests just take a lot longer because I need to constantly wait for stuff to phase in and with the horse races, I have to pause every so often, just for a second or two, to let things load. My computer is currently set at the lowest graphics setting for this game, where it has remained for the last year or so. Four months ago, things worked much better. Oh. I have also noticed that many newer graphics features do not respect the very low graphics setting. That has been true for a long time, now.

Also, I took one character into the new area and needed to immediately leave because the mounted enemies destroy me. I have poor equipment and need to use tactics, not brute force, to make headway and the mounted enemies swarm very easily.

Also, also, the Anniversary desperately needs more quests, preferably far away from Bree Town or any place with a lot of lag.
