Black Friday Sales Bugged?

Firstly depending on how you get to the item it may or may not reflect the sale. Fine not a huge issue though the sale really should hit the store at the same time as the announcement is released since the announcement doesn't say "not until tomorrow".

Much worse people are reporting that even using a screen showing the sale price they are getting charged full amount and having to put tickets in. This DOES need a fix ASAP

The store screen announced the sale about half an hour ago. Someone may have made a mistake since I now see that the store screen no longer has the sale showing. Almost surely they intended the item prices to reflect the sale immediately the sale was announced but the announcement went up before this had been taken care if.

They were advertised in game briefly, with the reduced price. however when you purchase them the full amount is taken. They have since been taken down so I can assume a dev has seen this. But still no word on any help with it.

For those that are curious the announcement showed a sale on races and classes and a larger sale on Valars. 75% on Valars as I recall.

Nothing on LP, MC or housing which is what I immediately took a look at. So either the sales are on just a few items or they simply hadn't finished listing the sales items when someone's finger slipped.

Looks like you saw the regular store sale from thursdays which comes tomorrow. There will be extra black friday sales like the years before.

It said black friday sale. And 75% sale on valar is not a "regular thursday sale".

The sales are not yet live. We will publish them in the launcher, web site, forums, and social media when they are.

Thank you. When the store notice was removed we rather rapidly reached the conclusion that it had been posted prematurely by mistake.

I will await the true announcement with bated breath and open wallet. Well at least somewhat open I may not buy LP to get sale items with a LP sale widely expected next month if there is none today.

I expect a complete announcement momentarily as they do every year specifying exactly what is on sale. The store banner, for example, didn't mention the LOTRO point sale as far as I recall.

Yes and other things are missing on the "gollum" banner, as the decoration carry-on with price reduced...have not checked all, as better to wait (^,^)

If I buy the $65 half price ultimate version to get all the extra goodies, will I run into any complications since I already have the basic version? And from my understanding, which is quite often wrong, the half price sale and availability are both Jan 9 2021?


I'm asking because I have $65, and I want those goodies.

We used to be able to apply a code(basic as example) over a code(ultimate) even if we had the content. Not entirely sure now.

It didn't when I bought Mordor Ultimate, after using the basic version. I bought it in last year's sale.
