Since the 3 peaks expansion I have been unable to play the game with any in game audio. If I have it toggled I get more than an occasional high pitched clicks & sharp notes, it get's seriously worse if there's any music in the background. It's the sort of noises you get when disconnecting a microphone or instrument from a live amplifier or searching for a station on the radio.

I've not adjusted my audio options so I'm at a loss as to what's causing it, can only assume it's something to do with the expansion update.

Can anyone suggest any work arounds to let my old Imac & me appreciate again the wonderful sounds that go with the sights of LOTRO.

My Imac is 12 years old & still going strong. How many times have you had to replace either you're real computer or large chunks of it's hardware in that time.

I do intend to replace it with a better one as soon as the only thing that bugs me with it isn't a few spurious sounds in a game
