    Run Fornost, run.

    Cosmetic switching

... How often do I switch?

    Constantly.

I sometimes get into my wardrobe, mixing & matching, buying dyes on the fly... and next thing I know an hour or two has happened, lol.

Every time i change location in the game, i change my toon's outfit to match the weather & ambient of the place. Also i change the outfit depending my momentary mood. Can not forget i change it according the festival or event that is going on.

Well... as an Elf, I shouldn't be vain, but... like every morning when I wake up?

It varies per character, but seems to average out to once every few years or so. Some characters have worn the same outfit since 2010, while other characters have recently changed outfits.

Thought I'd say hi. Newer player and big middle earth fan, I keep asking myself 'how did I miss this game?' it is simply beautiful. After a long day at work, I really look forward to coming into the world and losing myself and reliving the world I love from the books and the movies.

    Rarely.

I get a look for a character, and keep it for the most part.

Oh, sometimes I'll tweak an outfit if I get a new item. And sometimes I'll do an entire makeover if I get a major item. Basically -
    "it depends."

Usually when I get some new cosmetics, which is mostly during Festivals but sometimes in game cosmetic rewards are nice to wear also.

I’m keeping the same outfit on my woman characters, but I just have to constantly change the outfits of my elf because the (IMO) awkward standing posture of female elves makes every piece of chest outfit unsatisfactory to me.

Clothing is functional. I have warm weather clothes, cold weather clothes, formal clothes and 'getting dirty saying orcs' clothes.

There was a time when I tried a lot of combinations; but now my main characters all have a kind of iconic costume set that they are wearing most of the time. The last one that I compiled, is already about three months old. With having played more than nine years, and having seen nearly everything in game that could work as an outfit; there is little left to improve on after all.
