This is definitely one of the greatest achievements in all of LOTRO.

I thought I was doing well last year to get a character to cap only by running festivals. This is a whole level of patience and dedication beyond.

So THIS is what led to the insane supply of pies on Evernight and the start of wc's Occasional Pie War.

Cord you guys should arrange for him to get a special unique in-game title awarded. I vote for "Lord of the Pies," or "3.14159"

I agree too! This is much better than what I was thinking, and should be so much easier!

Many people have done it before on thier crafting alts, they just did not bother to post about themselves on the Internet. It is not a kind of achievment that is worth rewarding, especially considering its half-afk nature.

Maybe he was just trying to avoid the horrendous lag on Evernight?

The way I hear it, the lag on that server is so bad that crafting is one of the few things you can still do relatively efficiently

it served exactly as much purpose as the way YOU choose to play the game. It provided enjoyment. That IS what all games exist FOR, after all.

And that is different from how I play the game and how you play the game in what way?

Amazing.... it makes such a refreshing change to when there was literally dozens of farming bots on the fields of the Shire. They were doing it for the much valuable shards that dropped at the time but Pie sounds much more valuable to me...

Although as I write this I am thinking... 8 months? From cooking xp ? Yes there must have been some AFK bot involved to refresh broken tools and empty bags etc... but still an achievement worthy of title like "A true Pie Maven"

Props for setting and achieving a personal challenge.

I can see it being regarded as astounding if you have no frame of reference and a blank crafting tab nor actually levelled to 130. I can appreciate how the introduction of a second guild access made many of our craft alts a pointless waste of our time. The Flash on steroids VIP bonus now in the game could only taint such an endeavour though.

Like other ways to reach cap it doesn't make the character fit for purpose, but that's ofc not the intent with this achievement. Before you park up at least do the pie delivery so you have a pie to carry around.

Not if they were VIP (no item decay including tools) with a crafting carry-all.

Believe it or not, this news made it even to a (normally) serious German PC news website.

If the player is a minstrel, then Pied Piper would be very fitting.
