How do you select your Runekeeper abilities of Red or Yellow tab

I've been playing LOTRO since it came out and played several Runekeepers.
Now that I am level 114, I have started going into another column to select other abilities and see it takes TWO (2) Gandalf points to raise now instead of 1.

What is the criteria people use to choose the Runekeeper abilities?
If you are a Healer you select BLUE (Benediction of Peace)
    Yellow (Solitary Thunder) for Lightning
    RED (Cleansing Flame) or Fire

    or something like that ??
Something I've always wondered, and never asked... until now! Thanks!

When spending points, you need always to ask yourself: How much do I benefit from it? Some basic rules:

    1) Don't put points into everything in "your" tree.
Example: Confounding Principles in yellow tree. Improves Shocking touch. Since I rarely use ST, I consider points here a waste. (Unless I need something to put points in to reach skills farther down in the tree.)

    2) Check other trees for low hanging fruits.
Example: When playing yellow, I also max out Deliberate Address in the red tree (+5% tactical damage). 5% isn't so much, but better than some choices in "my" tree (see above).

    3) Check other trees for not so low hanging, but important fruits.
Example 1: Cutting Remarks in yellow tree (+5% critical chance). Crit chance is very important for DD's and healers, so I max it no matter if playing yellow, red, or blue. Even if this means I have to put points into previous skills to unlock CR.
Example 2: I'm a big fan of instant Self Motivation. 30% morale heal often makes the difference between life and death, so I cross-trait deep into red tree to get Overflowing Confidence and Hastened Determination. Even if this means I cannot unlock everything in my primary tree.

    4) How much bang for your buck?
Exampe: Fortune Smiles in yellow tree. First point (or two when cross-traiting) gives 6k Fate at lvl 130. Every additiononal point only gives 1,5k. So consider putting one point here and omit the rest.

I am not a cookie cutter fan so i experiment with my traits to tailor properly for my needs. So i did this with my RK for damage & worked wonders:
