Game Asset Housing Decoration Suggestions

I know you asked for specific assets Scenario but I would really like to be able to have miniature "models" of Raid bosses. Perhaps that could be contributed to a Kin House display case. Think of a tiny static model of Thaurlach, Thorog, The Mistress... etc.

Housing decor is great, but pleas add more functionality to everything. Love the crafting stations, vault keeper, barber, and supplier horn in my home. Wish the windmill would actually do some of the farming for me, or the chicken coup actually dropping eggs.

We have many years worth of awesome art in LOTRO, and no shortage of assets that would make great housing items. But not all of them are! Please feel free to use this thread to make suggestions on game assets that you'd like to see become housing decorations at some point.

When you make a suggestion, please include a description of the asset, a /loc for where that asset can be seen in game, and if you are able - a screenshot of it.

This is not meant to guarantee that anything suggested here will make it into the game as a housing decoration, but it will definitely let us know the kinds of things you all are interested in seeing.

I would like to propose new NPC's for our houses. These can be based off the current tech for guards, vault keeper, barber, etc.

Please add other citizens to make our houses look active and occupied, the artwork for many of these already exist throughout the game world for every race, occupation, and role.

There are numerous possibilities to include citizens, children, merchants, crafters, party goers. Each should have some sort of animation that can be triggered or interacted with. There can also be festive folks outfitted around each of the festivals and events.

I and many others would gladly buy these from the store individually or in sets.

Technically they're already existing housing items, but I've been waiting to see the various Banners of Rohan be made into wall items for a very, very long time. They're currently only small yard items and I find myself never having enough yard slots for them but always extra wall slots with not enough banners/tapestries.

Similarly, the Pennants of Rohan are just sad. They just hang there limp, never getting to wave in the wind as intended. They should probably just be taken out of the loot tables, I don't think I've ever seen anyone use one over a banner. Or if someone on the team is feeling particularly ambitious, turn them into War-Steed Equipment so they can achieve their full glory.

Great idea. I'm gathering some assets from in-game, building a little list as I run into things.

I would really love to see the War Pipes/Trouble In Tuckborough theme turned into an ambient music decoration though (would be great for Hobbits!), as it's a favourite. And maybe some of the hobbity Lyndleby music.

Ever since the release of Minas Morgul I have wanted one of these for my house..... I have a meadhall in Rohan, and it has a basement. I made the basement the scary section of the house, with the coffins and spiders and hanging cages from the ceiling etc.... the creepy basement. One of these would fit nicely in there!

I would love to be able to recreate Radagast's cottage. The tiered planters, walkways, and assorted benches, sheds, and light posts.

Most of all I would love to have a large pond with a pier. Bonus points if we can fish in it.

Wish list - the ability to tile the ground like we can with interior floors and the ability to apply skins to the exterior walls like wallpaper on the inside. This combined with the new exterior ambient tech coming would be awesome.

The first is the Elven harpist (or lyrist) in Thranduil's court. I'd love to have him play in my Falathlorn hall. He can be found in Felegoth at 48.2N, 127.2W.

The second is the flooring in Tom Bombadil's house. It's a standard stone flooring, but it has rushes laid on it, which I really like! Has a cozy rustic charm. Located at 32.7S, 57.3W:

Love the rock formations studded with colourful gems in Stonejaws. Would love to have wallpaper that evokes this look. Would be lighter than the beautiful Hall of Memory wallpapers, so would be a nice option when you don't want quite so dark a room.

I would love to see bars and bar associated furniture from various Shire, Bree, Rohan, Gondor, and Thorin's Hall Inns made available. These would make wonderful additions, especially for kin houses and mead hall housing.
