Uh, I don't suppose "in development" would be too obtuse an answer? What's the urgency?

We needs it, Precious, yes, we does.

But SSG hasn't really talked about it.

When they are ready to talk about it, they will.

Akin to other areas such as folks keep asking about EG7's November Investor Report and what SSG has said on it.

Generally you release 6 mans before the raid so that the drops are actually relevant.

Since the raid is coming soon, it feels like you already know the answer to this one! If the Drearspire turns into something in the future, that'll be neat! But it'll be new - it won't be just putting the finishing touches on something that was almost done. Lots of plans don't make it much past the whiteboard stage, and a percentage of those might leave evidence of themselves in quest files here or there, which is fun for archaeologists but sometimes gives the impression that there's a whole skeleton there when it's maybe just a toe. The best ideas from these partially-dreamed-up instances get taken and used for other content and dungeons, so they live on in that sense, even if the space they began in was never really implemented.

Well, we'll see what gets released first, but even if the 6-man gets released after the raid, people could run it for fun, because it might advance the story narrative, for cosmetics, etc. There is more to the game than endless pursuit of the holy grail of BiS and/or parse numbers.

EDIT: or as MoL said, might not get released at all.

Totally understand things changing during development, but I was hoping that the instance would finish out the Car Bronach storyline, and with U32+ moving away from Gundabad (aside from the raid) I just don't want one of my favorite zones to get lost!

Does this also mean that the Car Bronach quests, mentioned in earlier Bullroarer patch notes and now mysteriously missing, won’t be coming soon either? This was part of the expansion, and has not been delivered. When it is VIP content, it is a little harder to measure (but no less regrettable) - but when it is half of one of the expansion regions, this isn’t ok.

If not, then we need to return to this area at some point to get a proper resolution for the Brathar Crackhelm, Dourhand, Angmarim quest line. The NPCs are already there for half the quests! (in the cave in the north, and in Leithstath, plus the giant camp, and I’m sure many other undiscovered places).

Agreed. I am saddened yet I understand if they can't deliver on the 6 man. But the quests should wrap up - at least in some sort of quest instance.

Yeah but particularly in this case that whole zone feels like something happened to it that would fuel speculation on the incomplete nature of an instance in it.
Phrasing! Doesn't anybody do phrasing anymore?

I took a look at things and those quests are still on the way. I think the Case of the Vanishing Patchnote was just an oversight.

Drearspire has an entrance and everything in Tur Faur, doesn't it? And I feel like I saw it referenced in Bullroarer patch notes even before I saw HoR mentioned.

feels like they binned it and created the trash that is HoR quickly just to fill the 6 man quota. HoR definitely felt like a rush job.

A real shame that an instance that could actually have a quest related to it is cancelled. But then saying that, it's pretty clear to me that both were intended to be released (based on landscape design for their entrances) and they ran out of time/care.

Naw. They lost a few members of their team. They have had applications up on their website for awhile. I fear whoever was working on it left and they had to find someone, anyone with knowledge of the system to step in and finish the job... while still trying to complete whatever they had on their plate already.

That's an awfully intriguing area for how little it ended up utilized. Bit of a shame, but so goes game development. Hopefully it will at least somewhat connect to the unfinished CB quest lines.

I am disappointed and I find that it's a poor excuse to cover the fact that the guy who used to handle instances left lotro.
I hope the raid will be fun though...

These are available in U32 bullroarer already. But compared to the original data find in U31 bullroarer, these quests looks a big contradiction to the supposed tur fuar instance, where we are supposed to fight Brather crack helm as the final boss in it.
