There has been a time when a rune keeper could rename the summoned stone to something else than 'X Runestone'. I baptized mine Geldingadalir, like that Icelandic valley that is no more because a volcano flooded it in its entirety (and then turned upon the Meradalir)
After the last server reboot, the name was gone. I tried to rename it, but the only reaction I got was that the renaming was impossible? What happened?

Some of my kinnies have successfully renamed their runestones. I've tried several times and failed. I'd love to have instructions on precisely how to do it, since runestones don't behave quite like LM or Cappy pets when it comes to renaming.

It's a little tricky to do, and you have to do it quickly before the Runestone disappears. So here's what I did:
1. Use runestone skill.
2. Select runestone
3. Right click on runestone's picture (next to my avatar portrait)
4. Choose Pet Menu>Rename Pet
5. Select name and delete it 0.
6. Type in new name
You must delete the existing name, or you'll get a message like "You can't rename that", or something similar. Have to be quick to get this all done before the Runestone disappears. Might take a couple of tries! Good luck!
