Lotro-points as a gift

I'd like to make some gifts in competitions in Lotro. Do you know where I can get Lotro Points as a give-away?

SSG does not allow gifting of lotro points.

Why is it not allowed to gift somebody with something I pay for?
It's the perfect marketing instrument...

And when I'm doing a contest in Lotro, almost all new stuff is bound to account and cannot be given away... and Lotro profits from this a lot.

And there ARE contests, who give away lotro points!

I'm afraid, this seems to be not possible.

You do need to mention in your private message that you are looking for points for a competition, not including that bit might make it look like you are just asking for points.

In General: I need to avoid giving out points for "future events" that never actually happen, so I tend not to distribute any points to the organizer until after the event is publicly announced. When telling me about it, make sure to include all relevant details about the event, including expected crowd size, who will be participating, what date/time/server, any graphical assets you have planned for it or links to said assets, and any locations where it can be seen live like YouTube or Twitch. I'm not interested in giving out points for "future kinship giveaways", but if you have a legit ask, I can help.

Cordovan, why will SSG not allow us to gift expansions and lotro points anymore? We used to do it in the past and it is a nice thing to do and helps SSG earn money. I am sure many would like to see that function return to the store. I would think SSG would be happy if people spend money.
