Ember worthy craft - Sunstone shards Vs Ithilharn shards

How is there no recipe for ember worthy crafts using sunstone shards?

We have to use prior level cap content/resources to get current level embers?? Makes no sense to be using ithilharn shards as a source for embers over sunstone shards.

Ithilharn shards (and Dwarrowgleam Shards) both can create ember-worthy crafts. They both have a rare drop rate and can be earned by doing dailies. Sunstone shards were designed a bit differently. For starters, you can get 36 of them right away from the rare chests. You can also craft one of them per week. You technically can still get one through missions, but you'd have to choose a specific reward to get it. The rare spawns do not drop them and you cannot earn them from any mobs inside the raid.

Be careful of what you say because they would probably first change our current barter option to motes or remove the option altogether than to gives us a way to barter Sunstone shards.
