    Distant Imposter Issue around Bree-Land, Lone-Lands

    I'm posting this because I haven't gotten any word back from my bug report, and I don't hear anyone else talking about this so I feel like I'm going crazy. The wrong trees keep popping up when LOTRO is making distant imposters, and some things just look absurdly wrong. Pics are in links below, because they didn't seem to show up when I was using image tool.

    Picture 1: This one is really obvious, look at all the misplaced trees!

    Picture 2: This one is a little more subtle, but notice the random pine tree to the left of the ruins. Also, all those trees with white trunks should not be there.

    Picture 3: This is the last one I'll show, but look how large those reeds are!


    This is just very frustrating in terms of being immersion breaking, and I hope it is able to be fixed soon!

    I've noticed this too. The random giant reeds, random dead pine trees, and some weird tall swamp-trees with their roots exposed- all of which resolve into normal Breeland trees when you get closer.

    I do remember fairly recently they were having an issue with NO distant impostors showing up in Breeland, so everything looked bare until you were right up on it. So I guess they're still having problems, but at least they got something to show up. Hopefully they'll keep working on it.

    yes I have noticed this as well. Particularly through the midgewater marshes, looked like brown pine trees everywhere in the distance.. also trees with roots displayed in other areas in the distance.. Thought it was just me.

    Brown dead pine trees seem to be everywhere.

    You can see them around swamps, they are distant LOD, that spawns in for marshmellow tall grass. XD

    I'm glad to see I'm not the only one. It just looks like someone went a little crazy with the Cloning tool and stamps the distance with dozens of the same trees. TBH I would prefer they just turn those ugly dead red pine trees off. They just don't fit in with the areas I'm in. I've actually stopped taking screenshots as much as I used to because those pine trees just look so bad.
