That's probably it. Whenever Cordovan goes on vacation (or is otherwise unavailable) other staff does the minimum required, and things like patch notes may just be delayed a little. Cordovan has not posted at all this week, so maybe he is unavailable. Whatever the case may be.
I am sure that when the notes are available they will be posted, and as it seems to be a very minor patch, I wouldn't expect all that much.....
Also, the launcher indeed still shows the maintenance notice only, and the Harvestmath guide doesn't have a link. Seems to me the expert is just not available today.....![]()

Working on it. Cordovan is on a much deserved vacation.
(It's a small bug fix patch.)

Thanks for the information. We can live with delayed patch notes and messages in different places saying different things about the reason for the downtime. The game will be back when it is back and the changes will be what they are regardless so it doesn't really matter, other than giving those that need drama their daily fix.
Those who need drama ?
The silence cause drama.
Half ..e answers like one above doesnt hepl.
Small bug fix- 9h downtime and delayed patch notes.
First restart. Second, extended meintenance.
Cord jump from vacantion to vacantion when is most needed. (hope he is ok and get some rest)
Expansion is about to be launched and stil no BR
Warden and captains CRYING for so much needed buffs and OK class like burg get them first, and we learn that from some public discord but not from oficial source like forum.
There is more but lets stop here.
Just please, PLEASE, dont come with those DRAMA BULLSH@ITS .
Lets no make it personal, just coment about the game, devs or whatever and dont name ppl

Incredible. We all complain about server performance and when they give us extended maintenance starting early in the morning (their time) as well as a small bug fix we complain that the servers are down too long. Probably some of the same people that said that SSG didn't care about lag and wasn't doing anything.
Granted the extended maintenance may not help server performance but if they are telling the truth that all those extra hours are for extended maintenance - what *else* could it be for than to do *something* useful to the servers?
Maintenance and Patching do not always have anything to do with each other. Sometimes they do, most of the time they don't.
Maintenance: Changing the oil in your car, changing the brake fluid, replacing a broken lightbulb, topping off the wiper fluid, washing the outside, vacuuming the inside....
Patching: Fixing the "ticking" sound you keep hearing while shifting to second gear (patch: second gear cogwheel slightly off balance, open gear box, rebalance or replace)
Maintenance usually means they reboot a whole lot of stuff to clear out memory and start fresh, much like just rebooting your Windows computer, only in the case of this game there is a whole cluster of servers that need to be shut down in a certain order, and then brought back up in a certain order (e.g. don't load the login server before the user database, things like that). Besides reboots, they may run some scripts to clean up temporary files from each server in the cluster or scripts to reset certain values to default..... they may look at the space used by each server cluster and shift some resources around..... and they may do a few things about lag on the back end systems.
As this is an ancient game that keeps growing and growing and growing in landscape size, they need to do this weekly maintenance to keep the game as healthy as possible. Sometimes maintenance AND a patch happen together, and sometimes the maintenance is bigger than normal because they are upgrading things (could be hardware, could be system/OS patching, etc).
In any case, "Maintenance" means you get nothing new. "Patching" usually means something changes about the game, from very miniscule to major.

Sometimes, no matter how hard you look, there is no best light.
1) You must have missed the word "maintenance". If you do not understand what that means, see my post above.
2) Cordovan is on vacation. I do not know how things work in your country or state, but even though the USA isn't known for getting MANY vacation days, we do like to take them and enjoy time with our families. This is what Cordovan is doing RIGHT NOW. Let him have some downtime.....

"The ONE fix they made, dont even afect server performance."
This seems to be a difficult concept for some of us but the bug fixes in the patch notes reflect maybe one hour of the down time. The rest is extended maintenance. Neither you nor I knows just what they are doing for all that time or how helpful it will be for server performance.
Amok amok amok!!!

Not trying to start a war here, but do you realize the downtime announcement on the launcher was changed? Where initially (yesterday) it said "extended maintenance" now (today) all it offers is "our regular weekly restart". Not surprising that people will speculate on why the "standard weekly restart" takes 9 hours instead of 2. Just sayin'![]()
