Previewing Outfits

Is there any way to preview an outfit on your character before you purchase it? I can't figure out how to do that, I also can't even find a picture of what the outfit looks like, all I can see is a tiny icon and the purchase button.

Not any I would know of... Unfortunately, the game needs a modern day UI overhaul, including the store

Sometimes you can click for a preview if a coat-hanger icon shows up on the store display just under the item (in a yellow band). Other times the coat hanger doesn't show up at all. No idea why the little icon disappears.

I still can't believe they don't have this built into the system. You can preview items in the game and the store interface is built into the game. This sounds like extreme laziness on the developer's part.

This is why I will not spend any real money on a cosmetic outfit that I can't actually see what it looks like on my character.

This is a very stupid way of leaving money on the table as a developer, having been in the video gaming industry, I'm shocked by the lack of this very basic feature.

As long as I am unable to preview cosmetics in an adequate way, I'm not spending on anything but content and things easily explained in the tooltip. I'm hoping that their UI overhaul sometime next year leads to the store being fixed and dramatically improved because this is definitely costing them $$$

TBH you’re not missing much. There aren’t many store cosmetics that are that great (only ones I’ve ever bought are the black Gondor cloak and the green Rohan one). Most are quite old and dated now and many of them can be purchased from the skirmish camps with marks/medallions anyway. IMO there are much better cosmetic items to be earned from quests, deeds and vendors in the game and from running the festivals.
