The Adventures of Jajax The Mighty should continue! I want my boy to show me around his birthplace and kill Black Numenoreans and Orcs together while singing a pirate song!
That's all, thank you for your great work, keep going!

Daxamat seemed like the level-headed guy of the family, but unfortunately we didn't get to know him well! Though I'm pretty sure he'll be there to smack Jajax if he says something stupid!
There is love for Daxamat too! My only hope is they aren't turned into woobie "pirates" now or anything... you know, given how we met Jajax when his crew burnt an entire village for fun as pirates do or that Daxamat himself was a high-ranking cutthroat under the Heir. If there is anything I hate then it's turning interesting, complex, sorta anti-heroes into perfectly well-behaved woobies just by their sheer association with the good guys or because they've become fan beloved
I wouldn't personally mind Jajax becoming a goody two shoes person, or at least struggling with his aggressive upbringing due to cultural influences. Like, someone who hadn't even thought about associating himself with a person of the Free Peoples, now beginning to realise that all the teachings, all the lessons he had known from child was a lie spewed by the Black Numenoreans.
Anyway, there are ways for this to work. And I believe MoL has shown us that he can do wonders from nothing!
I mean, I don't mind him feeling somehow conflicted or growing some kind of sympathy, even if just by mere association with the PC. But I strongly disagree on this one... like, these are not "Black Numenorean" teachings or lies. It's just his way of life, they're actually pirates who murder and plunder. (Somehow integrated into how you sustain a whole kingdom and do your warfare/keep subjects in check, so that one would be interesting to explore). Also, in the lore we have, I believe the pirates came first, sort of. At least before the whole Castamir deal, since it was mentioned one of the Nazgul was essentially a LOTRO's version of Soulcalibur's Cervantes but instead of Soul Edge he was gifted his ring, lol, and he considered Corsairs "his people".
Well, if somehow he vows never to pillage again, that would be enough for me, lol. Now regarding Umbar, I'm not sure how the writers will handle that, as indeed piracy is a way of life after so many years. Who knows, maybe our King will find a way to, at least close the gap between the two peoples. Maybe by force, maybe by trade, maybe by politics. I don't think the former, as Aragorn doesn't strike me as the guy to enforce an Iron Rule.
Like, I wouldn't mind Jajax seeing the wrong of his ways. But indeed for the whole Umbar to stop pillaging and raiding some other measures will be required.
P..S: @MoL don't you dare pull a George R.R Martin on us and kill Jajax, I'll be beyond devastated!
Since it's mentioned he reconquered Umbar... that would be a stretch to say he did that by a trade deal. On the other hand, Gondor troops are busy and/or exhausted now (as should be Umbar's). If there was to be a political solution/deal made that's highly unlikely to be certain, because, hey, they're pirates who might easily cross you, what would that involved logistically and why would Gondor even risk it rather than wait? Umbar has - or should have - no fleet that would be a danger now. And even then, if there is a deal of any sort, that means Aragorn, lore-wise, gotta go there and conquer them anyway later. So not sure. What they have in mind here
For Jajax to entirely see a wrong of his way it would need to take a whole lot more than just a reunion with the PC though. Like, the entire deal of him and his brother wasn't just that they disliked "the bad guys" - they only begun to see problems with the other Corsair Captains and the Scourge because 1) they were too organized, with iron fist, and such a strong hierarchy/chase to the top that basically allowed that other Captain to scr*w Jajax and put a bounty on him, but Jajax' way was about freedom of piracy, sorta 2) turned out Balakhor was just a puppet and there was no real conquest and pirate dominion to be gained, just thralls under Sauron, which kicked off their planned revolt, and then a plan to maybe overthrow these guys at home if they're such puppets and are turning Umbar into this iron fist "corpo" piracy thing (it's actually interesting, you would need to think of them as revolting against the same things Tolkien usually revolted and had his good guys revolt against, like industrialization and organized exploitation with chase of dominance, however they themselves are bad guys but the ones who just prefer to do it "more casually" so to speak)
King Elessar appoints Jajax as Steward of Umbar, or we riot.
Arda Shrugged : Elendilmir (RIP) -> Arkenstone -> Anor (RIP) -> Landroval -> Treebeard
Well, I'm going to riot if he does though, doesn't sound smart at all. Even the "okay, I don't care for now if you can be my corsairs against the Haradrim but leave my ships alone" type of deal doesn't make any sense here since the Corsairs are probably already doing it anyway against some of their neighbors, so Gondor's allowance doesn't give them anything. Plus, it's not a good idea to officially say that a Corsair guy - under no supervision and no military strength right now to launch an outright invasion to ensure your rule - is your "steward"... quite easy to get a blame for anything that might happen
You folks are all off course! Jajax is my boyfriend - his only role is to do anything that makes me happy! Now hands off!
