How do you get both people in a Duo Delving to be able to get the Malice quest?

So, I bought BtS recently and tried Duoing a Delving with a kinnie recently. They started up the Malive tier, Delving Stone disappeared, enemies had Malices- and I didn't have quest and didn't get the Malice reward box when we beat the mission. So, how do both people in a delving get the delving quest?

A few things can happen. They made it impossible to join the delving unless you had the mission quest. So that can't be it. The enemies were buffed, so it couldn't have been that you forgot to turn in the gem after getting the quest. This means that the last thing that usually happens is that you were not fully loaded into the delving when the quest was accepted. This can happen a lot with new players. We usually check to see if both characters are moving inside the instance before touching the stone.

So, uh, funny thing is I was inside the instance first. I will say, I didn't touch the stone at all, not even to get the quest; did I need to do that? My thought process was "Oh, he'll start it up and i might auto-get it since we're in same instance"

Heh. Well, there's a ton of other little troubleshooting questions. Are you at level cap of the server? Did you perhaps somehow crash upon entering the instance? This can cause an error where you don't get the objective upon entering the instance. I doubt you have to "unlock" the higher tier quest options as there were many who were able to get them from the start. One thing to check is if you personally see the text "Malice has spread" on the screen and log when the gem is slotted. This probably won't help but maybe for others who see this: you have to turn in both quests at the mission-giver. They changed it a few times but you don't automatically get the chest at the end.

The one who insert stone, open his quest journal. Under delving you have your curret delving quest. You mark it, press share and other preson acept.
    Done.

    Enjoy

I've never had to do this before to allow both players to get credit for a Delving. Do you have to do this every time?

Usualy IF both players are inside and then one of them insert stone, both get the quest.
If you insert the stone while your partner is stil loading or outside s/he wont get the quest and you need to share manualy

That's why I prefer solo delvings, this system to complicated and both players needs to be in discord. Or all 3 players, if we count School/LIbruary

No discord needed. Delvings are simple.

If they so simple, why you spend so much time here complain about delvings?

They are simple enough to be done withou voice comunication. I do it solo and duo, and above tier 7+
Wont ask do you do them, i dont care about it and you in general.
Also if you fail to notice, its me who give the solution about how to not fck up the quest.
Simple have more than one meaning, but to understand that you need to use the sh/t called brain.
In my posts i already explain what need to be changed / long ago SSG u35 mission balance note, and if you bother to go back and read, you will see that most of the problems i mention get covered. NOt because i say they need to be, but because they needed to be.

You found sharing a quest too complicated and you blame me about asking ssg to adress some reall issues ?
Also when tf you played 3m delving?
And yes, im sure you never will. Team work require something more than hearing sm1 else voice ...
