New forums question - adding photos/screenshots

On Cord's stream of April 7, I don't think he said anything about mechanism for pasting photos/screenshots in the new forums. Currently, we have to use a third-party site to paste in screenshots. I'm hoping that with the new forums, it will be far less cumbersome and not involve a third party site. Like....drag and drop?!

Sorry, but that isn't likely. You'll still need to post images like you are used to.

You can attach images straight from your PC to the forums now which is relatively new if I'm not corrected

It's still cumbersome - but it's safe knowing your image won't randomly change or be removed?

    Steps to replicate easy
    1. Window + Shift + S to screenshot item
    2. "Insert Image" on forum post
    3. From Computer
    4. Navigate to screenshots folder. Example: "C:\Users\[YourName]\OneDrive\Pictures\Screenshots "
    5. Preview changes of your forum post
    6. Open attachment to get URL to image. Example "https://forums.lotro.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=12 89&d=1681309875"
    7. "Insert Image" again
    8. From URL, don't "Retrieve remote file", using the URL the forum made.

You can optionally just embed it yourself with
    Code:
    [IMG]...[/IMG]
You can use "Retrieve remote file". But you get a lot of errors. Like the file size and path not having the .png at the end. This is a safer way which seems to work more.

Also it looks like this... which is again not actually embedding the image...

Cord, will there be a higher limit of images that we can post in a post? Hopefully. 15-20 would be nice. Or higher. May be useful for these "article posts" too
