I'm a VIP lifetime player, have been playing this game since 2008 or so. Also been registered on this forum for a long time. I haven't logged into the forum since the acquisition by SSG however.
It looks like now I have no permissions to post threads, replies etc anywhere but in this subforum. How do I get my posting permissions back?
We do have some moderately aggressive anti-spam requirements, so it is true that if you haven't logged into lotro.com in years, you may have limited permissions. I can manually move you ahead of the queue; otherwise, you may need to wait a couple of days in order to get full permissions to post.

You should now be good to post as of this morning. If you still don't see any Reply buttons, try using a different browser or clear your browser cache.

Same issue as previous posters. I'd like to contribute (positively) to the conversations in the Bullroarer section.
I re-registered Thursday night (NZ time), so it hasn't been 2 days yet, but I suspect now is the best time to be providing Bullroarer feedback and balancing some of the negative complaints.
I do understand software change cycles and challenges, and am pretty impressed by Raninia's candour, patience and approach.

What's a girl to do to get a little customer support? I originally purchased the pre-release lifetime membership version of Lord of the Rings Online many years ago. Due to time restrictions and general life, I hadn't played for a while, which happens.
Then, during the height of the pandemic, I thought "Hey, I haven't played Lord of the Rings Online in a while, why not try it again?"
So, I logged in using my username and password, that I know were correct. Nope, incorrect password. Tried again. Same thing. Tried resetting my password. Waited for the email, which never came.
Dang! Either my account is disabled or someone hacked it.
I open Customer Service Request #155670 asking to have my password and email address reset. A day or two later, I get a response asking for a whole host of information showing I made the purchase and am the rightful owner of the account. I provide every piece of information, and even add photos of the original box I purchased and the card with the game code on it.
And for 9 months, I've heard absolutely nothing back. I did get a promise in June on this Facebook page after a post, but nothing was done.
My question is... Are you going to resolve Customer Service Request #155670? Or are you going to continue to blow me off some more? I would very much like the account I paid $200+ for to be back in my possession.

Hi Cordovan, I would like to have permission to post in the other forums such as the Player suggestion forum as it appears I do not have those permissions at the moment.
It would be really, REALLY nice to post in the regular forum. Hard to organize fun stuff and otherwise participate in the community without the right perms.
