Got it again. It has been a busy day at work, but I'll see if I can come up with a trickier riddle soon.

I'm putting the finishing touches on my latest. It's not coming out as good as i hoped, but its not bad. i'll keep fiddling

The Green Dragon. Ted Sandyman is the miller's son, and Sam is the one that he bothered.

"Ah," said Ted, "you do, if you listen. But I can hear fireside tales and children's stories at home, if I want to."

"No doubt you can," retorted Sam, "and I daresay there's more truth in some of them than you reckon. Who invented the stories anyway? Take dragons now."

"No thank 'ee," said Ted, "I won't. I heard tell of them when I was a youngster, but there's no call to believe in them now. There's only one Dragon in Bywater, and that's Green," he said, getting a general laugh.

But each day without fail, I’m seen wounded and bleeding

I agree with you, SL, rather than my original guess of Denethor. "clean shaven and hairless" really fits the palantir of Minas Anor. I just wasn't sure if Denethor was bald or not...

Alas, I doubt I will be posing any riddles here myself...I need to save my best ones for in-game special events. (Well, okay, I might try formulating some from extant texts, such as the Sil. )
