So here's a nice goofy question for you. On one of my characters I have the race token for winning the race and the festival tokens needed to get the horse, but haven't bought the horse yet. (I might be one token shy, I don't remember). When this goes active, if I haven't converted those to a horse by then, am I going to get stuck with them?
Yeah, I know, just had to throw a ball of wax into it. Now I gotta look up my characters vaults and remember which character has this, and see if I can't get the horse already before it's to late.

Queue up another skill then toggle your resource skill -- see if it comes on while the other skill remains queued up. Perhaps it's something about the scholar tracking skill or maybe it's something with my character. I'd always assumed that this was how it was supposed to work.
As a level 1 burglar, Bilbo got a pony when he joined the Smaug The Dragon raid. Then he asked for leadership, looted the chest, assigned himself the 1st age Arkenstone and mailed it to an alt (Bilbo's a VIP so can mail from anywhere). They did some PvMP and an Epic Battle, then he apologized and gave the Arkenstone back because it wasn't BoA. He kept the pony.

Ok.. another tricky mount question.
Founders account, but was paying for it on a month to month basis. Account was not active in December when they flagged the founders accounts for the Bree Horses. All the stuff keeps saying that Founders are going to get their Bree Horses given to them again in case they deleted em. Is this a blanket Founders pass out.. or only if the account was active when they were given out the first time?

what about goats?
I'm sure tolkins is screaming in his grave right now by all the goats that are roaming around middle earth OUT SIDE of MORIA!
Please please fix this, we do NOT wanna see assault of goat charging at helm's deep...
I'm going to have to try this later, but I'm sure I've used the scholar skills while riding. Just haven't been able to harvest, of course.
Hmm, new lvl 20 horse will be 220s, many people have complained about the current high price of horses, of course it will be somewhere in-between. I just hope it isn't around 225s.That would be to cheap. What I can guarantee is that no matter what price you set it at, some people will complain it isn't low enough and other will complain that they paid the original price, and you lowed it to much or even lowering the price at all is an affront to them because it devalues their horses.
A more simple question. Will Burgs be able to sneak on a horse?![]()

I doubt that unless you were flagged to get the Bree Horse before, that you will get it on Dec.1st. AFAIK, you technically lost your Founders status by letting your account lapse.
I'm not completely sure though, perhaps a Dev can confirm?
EDIT: Ransroth seems to have confirmed it. Thanks.

Even if you don't get your founders horse for whatever reason you will still be able to buy a "slow" horse at level 20 for 220s. Not the same but better than nothing.
The new level 20 horse is a "slow" horse just like the bree-horse is now (bree-horse is going to level 15)

I'll second this... my only toon high enough level to have a mount (obviously my main) is a scholar and the node tracker can be toggled on and off while riding. They even show up before you dismount! I never knew that tracking skills couldn't be toggled while mounted because it definitely works for scholar nodes.
And thanks for answering my question earlier, Ransroth!

This would be my fondest dream:
A skill that I can quick-slot that will summon a random mount from my stable that is usable in the area. It's fine with me that some can get knocked down faster than others. People can slot a specific one if they care about that.
I know it's not on the list, just mentioning my dream.
Ok, a founders account that was being paid for on a month to month basis.
Well, technically, if I understand the rules correctly, you lost your founder's status at this time. Once you reactivated, you may have gone to a lifetime account, or you may have gone to a multimonth account, or to a regular monthly account, but not at the Founder price unless you reactivated during one of the special anniversary price discount periods, but then you're just getting the Founder price, not the Founder status.
So, to make a long answer short, no, you won't get the Bree horse. Technically, you're like all the other people that were around at the beginning of the game launch but never signed up for what they're now calling Founder pricing.

thank you for a response. Just letting u know several people (several being a small number though) who had founders accounts got skipped over. I thought I didn't qualify because i thought it was for founders only. But, later I found it it was for founders AND lifers who bought before some certain date (i think it was the first dec lotro was out). I was just skipped, thats all.
Anyways, thanks for responding!![]()

I have a question about the new mounts becoming skills:
Are there still going to be differences between certain mounts?
Meaning, the v1 horse seemed more sturdy than a rep, and a rep was more sturdy then a regular horse. So, will the skills be different like that to? or were all horses resorted to the same line?
And, if they are different will the skills have some way of telling you a sturdyness level? Such as rep horse sturdy level = 2, where a regular = 1, and v1 horse = 3, etc. Or just words could do justice, sturdy, sturdier, sturdiest (but I think numbers would be easier in the long run as better horses come out).
What about speed? Are skills going to tell you which ones have normal or reduced run speeds?
Thanks for anwering!![]()
