Sapience is a Forums-Warg (or maybe a Burg!)

Has anyone else noticed that Sapience often (like daily, sometimes several times a day) posts notes in the forums that NEVER appear on the Dev Tracker? He goes into stealth mode, like a warg that's about to pounce you, get you locked in a CJ, then tickle your ribs from the inside with some really big teeth!

I mean, I know Sapience's ability to do this is nothing new, and I know at least some of the reasons he does it (avoid calling more attention to a thread that just needs to die, or avoid having himself and a single thread listed repeatedly), I'm just teasing him about it. Duwis never stealths up...he may show up 20 times in a row on the Dev Tracker, in a single day, for entries in the same thread, but Duwis is like a dorf guardian, he just keeps pounding away. But not Sapience...no, he's sneaky.

Devs and CMs actually have the ability to disable tracking for their posts if they desire, for example most of the time when this is done it's done to posts with little relevance to LOTRO, which keeps the Dev Tracker more concise to those who use it to search for LOTRO-related information.

Sapience is a Hunter so obviously he is going to be utilizing his Camoflauge skill while hunting for forums rule's-breakers. Firing a Heartseeker from Camo and one-shotting your foe is awesome.

I was under the impression only community team members could disable thread tracking for a post to not show up in the dev tracker. I thought the developers posts always show up in the tracker.

Not sure if the devs themselves have the ability or not, but I don't mind them stealthing some of the "Me Too" posts.

Not sure if the devs themselves have the ability or not, but I don't mind them stealthing some of the "Me Too" posts.

On the flip side, if you do see my name or any of the Community Team in the tracker, it's usually a good bet that our posts and possibly the whole thread, are worth a look.

What's to say he isn't a forums hobbit? They can stealth too... and do "Still as death." Although I am not entirely sure where that would come to play on the forums...

Although... if A community admin plays dead on the forums and no one around sees this, will the trolls make a sound?
