LOTRO Lottery Known Issues & Feature Requests (Updated 2010 May 12)

In FireFox, if you refresh the page, you'll get the scroll boxes to display correctly. That's worked for me.... (F5) will force the refresh...

This hasn't worked for me. I have pretty much decided to switch to chrome for now anyway. At least until firefox implements one thread per tab.

I noticed that my accounts level 63+ characters were able to see and enter the lottery for the symbol. My hubby's account level 63+ character didn't have it available no matter what we did for trying to find it. We clicked the button "enter to win click here" which does not give all lotteries any way. We selected the characters directly and used the lottery tab to bring up any lotteries that each character had available (we did find a couple there) but the symbol lottery never showed along with not having the gold box lottery either.

Both accounts have the same type subscription if that matters. All characters involved are in Mirkwood.

Are same level characters eligible for some lotteries and others not? Are there other gating criteria for lotteries besides level?

Once my.lotro.com recognized that my Guardian, Mirranda, had made 63rd level, she was able to get into the lottery. I know that it expired this morning and there isn't another of those lotteries I see yet.

There were no new lotteries today, only the usual Monday lotteries. So if you've already entered those, then you wouldn't see anything 'new' to enter.

The only new lottos were on Monday. Nothing new since then. If you entered those, that's it. If you didn't, try going to your individual character pages and see if they're available that way.

Yep, May 6-12 is Nurse Appreciation week, Today is the anniversary of the Birth of Florence Nightingale, thus the international day of recognition.

It's a level 65 Lottery.

2 days ago one of my acocunts was recognized in my.lotro.com and the other was not and the first account characters did receive some lottery rewards on Wednesday. Today neither account is recognized when i try to login.
However both acocunts are recognized to play game and when i check my account in account maintenance.
Any thoughts as to why this is?

On the main lotro.com page its indicated that my character Shanah won a Skirmish Starter pack as well as a Embossed gift box.

Logging after the maintenance, I effectively received in mail the Gift but not the SKirmish starter pack.

Just wondering if this is normal or not

Sapience has explained before when players asked for this lotto to occur more often that it's supposed to be a "special" lotto, otherwise it completely spits in the face of the people that are farming the heck out of SG to get a Symbol. I would think the same goes for giving the Symbol to someone that hasn't even reached 65 yet and can't use the weapon produced from it. It's not terribly fair to make players that are 65 compete with those that aren't when there is a very limited number of winners per server already.
