Kinship/Tribe Administration Permissions Resetting

After adjusting certain members of a Tribe/Kinship to administrators, their permissions are randomly removed and reset. This also goes for removing administrative permissions for some; after a random amount of time, the permissions are reset and granted again. This has happened at least 5 times over the last month.

I did submit this as a bug but wondered if others were experiencing this, if it was a known bug, and/or if anyone had a work-around fix?

While you say it is random, have you noticed any patterns/commonality to this behavior? e.g., It always seems to happen within X days of upgrading someone. It is always player X then player Y that loses their permissions. Always after one of them rolls a new character.

Any details you can provide -- kinship names, player names being given admin access, etc. -- here or in PM would be helpful.

The leader/user that has control is Olympic.

The Kinship trying to be adjusted is Legionnaires, Elendilmir.

The Tribe trying to be adjusted is The White Hand, Landroval.

The user who's permissions keep resetting are mine, romoen.

The timeline I'm not sure on as Olympic doesn't check it that often to know if anything in particular is happening but I will ask them to watch it more close to see if they notice anything.

Its all random.

I usually clear out all the names, and reset "romoen" to administrator.

Usually the next day there are a few names back on the list as "contributor" and Romoen is set back to Editor.

It appears officers in the tribe/kin get set as "editor" and regular members get set as "contributor".

Each day more and more names get added back to the list. I usually delete them all and reset Romoen to "administrator", but I have to do this daily.

OK, that sounds like intended behavior by the system, but I will have to confirm that w/Bracket, et. al. on Monday.

However, this sounds like unintended behavior. I believe any adjustment that moves people up in the permission hierarchy should stick. Again, something I'll have to check on Monday.
