Silly question, and I apologize if it has already been answered somewhere:

Will there be a possibility to pay player/kinship house "rent" with points?

I think I have seen such option mentioned once, but haven't been able to find it in the store after I got into beta.

Hi guys thanks for the list by the way +rep...

Iam a little confused on a couple of points sorry.

1. ive been a subscriber for a year paying monthly does that mean iam VIP?
2. +10 stat max of 30 does that mean if someone wanted they could add +30 to str, agil etc or is it +30 overall so you can add 10 to one and 10 to others if needed.
3. Now i have kindred with all factions was suprised to see Glad horse on there and wardens horse which someone can now buy... do they still need kindred to use it with that faction?

1. As long as you keep your sub active, you'll be VIP, otherwise you'll drop down to premium.

2. +30 to each stat is possible; 3 tomes max per stat

3. Apparently not. Faction mounts for sale was the big complaint about the store before people caught on to the uberpots.

Emotes, AH, bags, vault space, traits, buffs are per character.

shared storage, wardrobe is per server.

quest packs, skirmishes, gold cap and expansions are account.

These are per account. However, you cannot share the storage across servers. So if you have 3 characters on one server it shares, but won't share across 3 characters on 3 separate servers.

These are per account. However, you cannot share the storage across servers. So if you have 3 characters on one server it shares, but won't share across 3 characters on 3 separate servers.

Sapience explains my lapse there. I knew that the purchase would open it up on the account, but also knew that each server was separate. Only explanation I can come up with for mixing that up like that. Oops.

Those are per character. Tested those both on beta so I can verify that one for sure.

Well, honestly, after spending my time to Level 42 without spending unearned points on content, and being fully awre of the VIP->Premium downgrade perks, I'd have to say, guest passes would practically be giving away points. Guest pass to an area, start all the deeds, complete at your leisure. Do the quests now for fast xp.

You can join fellowships on quests you don't own (including non-world-join-instances, usually.) to help out, you just don't get the quest xp/end rewards..so its pretty reasonable now.

Nice! You can buy recipes! There are a bunch i was never able to find on the AH, since no one was leveling through that area (another problem an influx of new players will solve).

Question: If you are going into F2P with a Lifetime account and Moria/Mirk/Adv pack expansions, which store items will we already "own" so we don't have to buy them from the Turbine Store?

I'll start with my guess on things we *won't* need to purchase:
2 expansions (of course)
9 of 10 char slots?
All skirmishes
all 5 bags
20 of 50 shared storage slots
not sure on vault.. we at 45 currently?
how about AH post slots?
and I assume if we have gotten the writs of passage and virtue we can't buy them again for further discount?

Anything else?

It raises the interesting question of what the exchange rate is between TP and gold. Presumably there already is one between $$$ and gold, so it could be inferred from that. Or there would be things like the rent suggestion, comparing AH prices for tomes, and more I'm sure.

I can't wait for it either, just to get it over with.

Sort of like the Pit and the Pendulum, when you see the giant blade drawing closer and closer and closer. It comes down so slowly, it drives you mad, you just wish it would fall.

T2 - 450

Many of the prices in the store are being adjusted further based on feedback, we are putting up a new Beta build of the game tomorrow to address some additional issues beta testers have reported, and we are still reviewing item and price feedback before settling on the launch configurations in the LOTRO Store.

In addition, we've already started to highlight some of the best player suggestions from Beta to include in our next full (non -patch or hotfix) update and in future Book updates.

So you could say we've got a lot going on here in the coming weeks and months.

Hopefully you removed the store Pots, too. Those are 100x worse than Reputation Mounts.
