I didn't have time to look through the entire forums, so will someone please answer this for me real fast?

Is there a way to have more than one character signature in your forum signature?

When I cut & paste the [charsig http...yadda, yadda]undefined[/charsig] from one character, it works fine, but when I put two or more in the signature box, it only shows the first one.

I just want to know if it's possible and it's just borked atm...or if it's not possible, so I don't waste my time trying to get it to work.

Sorry, there isn't a way. We purposefully made it that way so that people wouldn't put more than one. Although you can turn off viewing sigs for other users, having more than 1 per person was just too graphically heavy.

While we're on signature bugs, take a look at mine. See that lone five down there under Woodworker? The one that dentotes I've only a mastered tier 5? That's supposed to be a 6. It was supposed to change to a 6 over a year ago. It's been stuck at a five through two different Forum systems. I see other woodworkers who have a 6, so I have no clue what's up with mine.

Then again, I do seem to keep seeing the numbers 66 and 666 in game with distressing frequency. Maybe I'm cursed.

I have been trying to create a forum signature, I go through the steps 1 through 3, paste the text into the box, hit save, and it reloads the page, clears everything and saves nothing. No signature. I try hitting preview instead and it does the same thing, reload, wipe everything.

What browser are you using when you try this? I've confirmed that under Chrome and FF, your account can successfully set a character signature. Also, are you cutting/pasting this form of the string into the signature field?

One other thing to note, you can only place one character signature into the field. IIRC, it will attempt on save to enforce that restriction, and it might be gobbling up all of your signature code.

My signature seems to have a mind of its own...it sometimes shows up, sometimes not, sometimes only part of it (the text i manually entered) shows up...each day it seems different.

I am using Internet Explorer 8, I used the string produced by the process and pasted it into the text box exactly as the instructions stated. I am only trying to make a single signature, not multiple

Odd; we can't reproduce this under IE8. Your account can successfully set/unset a signature under the instances of IE8 we have here. Are you running any toolbars, ad/script blockers, etc.?

For reference, we tested with IE8.0.6001.18702.

Finally got it work, using a different computer.

fyi though, when I created the signature, the text produced did not have the toon name in the place indicated, it had "unknown" in that spot. I had to manually edit the name in, which i did after I had already gotten it to save the sig and noticed that.

I have a related question. My signature works, but doesn't show anything for my crafting levels. Is there a switch somewhere that I need to throw?

Being as there are still a number of issues they can't get to work right on the site (i.e. not everyone's mylotro works right, some characters don't update at all, and a host of other issues they still need to fix), I'd say it hasn't been fixed because it's a lower priority than those other things they haven't fixed yet either.
