So tomorrow sees the start of PAX East, who's made plans to visit over the weekend? What are people looking forward to or hoping to see.. For me personally, I'm hoping that they'll announce the release date for Update 2 and have some new information regarding Isengard looking forward to hearing the juicy gossip..

You don't actually need a twitter account - you can just go to that URL.

Your chances won't be as good, since you'll probably miss a lot of stuff - but you'll have a shot.

If I want to follow news on lotro I have to use two outside sperate services I do not care for or trust? Awesome.

I am going to stick with the click the lotro lotto button from time to time and hope something is actually there method.

If it weren't for Twitter, it'd be even fewer people since I bet most of us aren't attending PAX. This at least gives those of who can't/won't go to PAX a slim chance of getting something if they choose to watch the Twitter feed (even without actually signing up for Twitter, unless their contest is one of the 'you must retweet/reply' ones). Depending on how they do it, I don't doubt someone will post on the forums, but even then people have to be watching the forums for that chance instead of doing whatever else they could be doing. So either way, it's a 'watch like a hawk or just don't worry about it' kind of thing for the majority of players.

What I wanna know is if Turbine will finally get around to announcing their new mmo('s). I know their main one they've been developing since like 2008 and as of 2009 had already spent ~$20 million on it. I can only imagine how close they should be to being done now yet never even a hint yet as to what the game is.

PAX should be the best time for that sort of news. Boston is their home turf, they have the biggest booth (and thus, hopefully, the most attention). Whatcha waiting on? Time's running out what with the world ending next year and all. Much longer and no one's gonna even remember who Harry Potter is (if that's the IP it's based on).
