    Really disappointed in unnecessary complication...

I'm a huge Turbine Fanboy..let's not even quibble about that. I've been playing since closed beta and rarely see a problem with Turbine's releases. But ...I have finally been disappointed by Turbine's overly complicated processes. I've been slowly working to get an anniversary steed. Prior to this "festival" it required 1 "run" token and various combinations of other type of tokens...now I've been in this game since the closed beta...but now it's requiring flat out stupid combinations of multiple "anniversary tokens" and multiple "horse run" tokens, just to getthe anniversary steed. Why all the convolution?!?! Aniversary tokens are anniversary tokens... why are you making me parse these out between various types..when the effort required to acheive them is the same. It serves no purpose but to confuse and frustrate loyal 'members' that have been supporting you for LITERALLY years!!!! I'm not complaining about the amount of tokens required, but the fact that you are requiring us to carefully pick and choose the combinations of tokens...just to buy an anniverssry steed!!! Utterly ridiculous for you to unnecessarily complicate a simple procress. DANG!!!! I rarely post...if ever post complaints...but this is just unnecessary...why overly complicate a simple barter!!!

    30 anniversary tokens. done.

What do you have to carefully pick? There's no combination of tokens. There's a requirement of 30 anniversary tokens, 3 horse race tokens, and 200 silver. That's not overly complicated...

Turbine has already stated that they have no intention of selling the Anniversary Horse in the store.

They also stated there wouldn't be a store in the first place, that LI items would never make their way into the store, that the store would not sell advantage...etc etc so there 'promises' aren't worth much to the majority of players anymore{not to get off topic}.

Although I am confused OP by what you are referring to, how are you getting a complicated vibe by the system?

This. besides, they don't have to sell it As the Anniversary Horse, i.e. use that name for a horse of the exact same design and/or stats.

They also had no intention of ever going F2P. If there's enough potential money involved then intentions change.

As for the OP's comments, I'm guessing he's getting the Anniversary tokens and the anniversary metallic tokens confused and thinks you need to get different types to combine for the horse purchase.

If you really wants it Precious you'll have to work harder for it. I think it's ugly myself. Enter the lotteries for the Anniversary tokens, they have been giving those away every day. The race tokens can be hard to get if you're a spaz like me, so there you have my sympathies! lol

    Dot dot dot

The only thing that somewhat threw me for a loop on tokens for a horse, was the 3! horse race tokens needed. I personally won't have a problem getting them, and have gotten my needed anni-tokens plus some. I guess they were trying to 'buck' the usual 1 horse token needed tradition.

Zzzzzz... Wake me up when this isn't the auto-response to any and all complaints people have about certain in-game issues. It got old months ago.

    AHAHAHAHAHAHA and you believe them?

It is getting so that people wouldn't believe them if their tongues came notarized.

They will have bright futures in politics if they so choose.

    QFT + Rep.

Seeing as the store sells nothing "game breaking", I just don't understand why people think "The Store is evil!"

As to the OP... other then needing 3 horse race wins, rather then one, what about this is any different then other ones? Silver, Race Tokens, Special Event Tokens. Or do you mean the ways to GET the tokens?

Guess we'll start calling you Rip Van Winkle...because you're going to be sleeping for a looooooooong time.

Oh, and I agree that the "cause they want you to buy it in the store" line has gotten old. Older than Dorian Gray.

Re: Really disappointed in unnecessary complication...

As this thread is covering ground that has already been covered by a few threads in the past, I'm going to close it. However, before I do, I want to re-iterate a point one more time.

We have no intention of adding the Anniversary Mount into the store. It's not in the store data, and there is no intention of placing the mount in the store data.
