Hurrah! Thank the Valar! Now if I can only get to removing about 20 or so lottery widgets I have lined up on my home page. I kept clicking it over the months to check if it was already up and now I can't get rid of them. :3

The widget is back. If you clicked on it multiple times to place it on your page, you can remove it by clicking the X on the top right corner of each widget. You'll have to do this for each widget on your page.

We have run a few successful tests and things seem to be working correctly on ALL worlds. Our tests have successfully run lotteries and awarded the items correctly across all of our servers (including the former EU worlds).

Please be aware that many of the previous known issues still apply (they are tied to the behavior of the data.lotro.com service) and there will be new information on lotteries and their start/end times posted shortly.

Over the next few days we will run small, short, unannounced lotteries to test the system under load. We ask that you do not frantically click refresh and constantly reload the lottery page, as this will place undue stress on the servers.

The lotteries we will be running over the next day or two will not be anything of great value. Unless you have a soft spot for fireworks.

That widget wouldn't accidentally be on the 'My preferences' page that's been inaccessible for a number of former-EU-server inhabitants since you started updating the data.lotro.com service in July? (and still is...)

No, it's on the 'more widgets' link on the top of your my.lotro.com homepage.

Issues with data.lotro.com impact players regardless of where their accounts may have originated. There have always been known issues with certain accounts and characters not functioning correctly as a result. I would suggest everyone read the Lottery Known Issues.

A question - when i checked the EU-only test lottery with glass of wine, it showed for me only english ex-EU servers and characters . I had chars also on german servers. Is this WAI , or a bug?

Yes, and have every since reading it. All contests kinda give me the creeps now, and the fact I tend to never win any seems to add to that.
