The best part for me was going to the page (after not having been there in a long, long time) and having to remove about 20 duplicate lottery widgets from all the times I kept trying to add it back to see if it was there.

Have you tried today? Sapience said, "We have run a few successful tests and things seem to be working correctly on ALL worlds. Our tests have successfully run lotteries and awarded the items correctly across all of our servers (including the former EU worlds)."

You may have an issue with your account, but given the very large number of European characters from the former EU servers that are showing as having entered the test lotteries, I'm going to have to guess that you have an issue they do not.

A word of caution. Lotteries are not 'back'. Not quite yet. We're still making sure that some things (like Europeans being able to enter and win - which we've confirmed is happening) are where we expect them to be.

With that said, if all goes well I think you can expect the lotteries to well and truly back by this weekend.

When i click the click here button i get a message: "You have no characters eligible for the current lotteries." I have a level 66 champion on snowbourne. Am i doing something wrong?

Basically every character that is in a kinship or tribe doesn't show up anywhere on mylotro.

FYI, all of my characters were able to enter the Continental Lottery, even though none of them have ever been on a former EU server and I'm a US player. I don't know if there have been any other test lotteries, as that is the only one the showed up.

A couple of things to keep in mind as well (especially those who are new to lotteries)...

When a lottery ends it does not automatically award the prizes to the winners. There is a delay built in and it can take some time to process. Usually this is several minutes but if it's a large number of winners it can be a bit longer.

Lotteries that have ended, vanish. There is no history of past lotteries displayed unless you win and then only the characters that won and name of the lottery are displayed.

If there are no lotteries running or your characters do not meet the requirements for the lotteries that are running, you may see the message "you have no eligible characters". Because, well...you don't.

We can set lotteries based on any, all, or a mix of the following:

• Level
• Race
• Class
• Server

We could make a lottery that is only open to Level 15 Hobbit Minstrels on Eldar.

Once lotteries are fully restored we will return to regularly scheduled weekly lotteries, Flash lotteries (Follow @LOTRO on twitter to be notified of these), weekend lotteries, Special occasion, holiday, festival, and random, unannounced lotteries. (whew!)

Thanks! The restrictions didn't apply correctly (see, still working out kinks!), but they should have by now. Characters entered will stay entered, but no new characters from any but the former EU worlds should be able to enter now.

It's a test lottery, all my characters have won as well. Just to see if it works. Later on you won't win all the time anymore. Unless you are a Lucky Duck of course

Correct. It's also why every character on some accounts seem to be winning. We seriously cranked up the number of winners per world per lottery for many of these. They are not representative of the normal lotteries or typical odds of winning.

Something else possibly worthy to note, I am either really lucky or the lottery possibly made everyone a winner as I won on all of my toons (even the deleted toon who I have had reports is using the fireworks in computer game character heaven. Aeris is loving them btw.)

If you scroll up one post you'll see why you were so lucky (by design) and if you check the known issues (sticky at the top of this forum) you'll see that deleted characters are a known issue.

Me too. I rolled a toon on Laurelin once... and that was the only one that showed up :P

I am going to refresh the widget to see if that'll help.
