Click the "Follow" button. I'm assuming you'll need to setup an account and all that jazz.

There are other ways to do it as well. For instance I have the twitter feed added to google reader.

How often is mylotro updated? It knows the quests I have recently completed but doesn't seem to have updated my character (currently 74 although mylotro one is 67 which I passed last Friday-ish)

They are just having test lotteries right now, should be back fully by the weekend.
I had 3 characters win 1s 50c today.

Just like me, but I have made some progress with Twitter. Go to your browser Search Window and type in 'Twitter' (no 's of course), then go to Twitter/com. You'll have to create a User Name (I used a variant of one of my LOTRO Character Names) and password (a favorite limerick, expression or quote, with mixed caps and lower case, altered spelling and numbers for some letters and a punctuation mark or 2 as well - say use fOrE&20BlKbRdS for "Four and 20 blackbirds") to establish a Twitter account. Once you have a Twitter account, there is a 'Follow' box on the startup page - select Follow and look up LOTRO and you're done. Of course, you can also follow other groups of interest, like lawn care groups and M1 Garand collectors... <grin>

Because there are no lotteries at this time. Once again I cannot stress enough that everyone should read the two thread stickied at the top of this thread.

Also, once lotteries are back in full force you will still see that message. Lotteries do not run 24/7/365. They run randomly, outside of the scheduled lotteries listed in the stickies, and they may run from 10 minutes to 10 days. You may simply come to the site at a time when none are running, or when a lottery is running that you don't qualify for.

Then just check back from time to time or set twitter up to notify you if we send a tweet (or better yet, use something like Hootsuite or tweetdeck and let it run in the background). Then when we send a tweet, you'll see it and can reply, retweet, or act accordingly.

OK, I set up a Twitter account and a Hootsuite account, but I don't understand the point of Hootsuite. Do I have to keep my web browser open and stay logged in to the Hootsuite page in order to get your tweets? If I do, then why not skip Hootsuite altogether and just stay logged into my Twitter page?

Last night, I entered a NA-only red fireworks lottery with all 13 of my characters (spread between Elendilmir and Windfola), and none of them won. Based on earlier posts in this thread, it sounded like the win-rate was increased for the test lotteries. Has it been changed back to normal, or does this count as a bug?

These are different things. I have this message on some of my characters (all that are in an old kin). But no problem entering the lotteries with them (and win).

Do I have to keep my web browser open and stay logged in to the Hootsuite page in order to get your tweets? If I do, then why not skip Hootsuite altogether and just stay logged into my Twitter page?

I don't know hootsuite. I use Tweetdeck. It's a standalone program you have to download and install. It allows to configure notifications (popups and sounds), i.e. on search strings, so you'll never miss any interesting tweet. I put it into my autostart folder so it runs all the time in background. No need to keep the browser open.
I assume Houtsuite is similar.

I selected HootSuite because it runs in a browser. I can't install TweetDeck because I don't have administrator privileges on my work PC.

I noticed my lottery widget was back last night, and entered the red fireworks lottery that ended at 10:00 this morning on all of my Brandywine characters. This morning I entered the one for silver that ended at 12:00. I know Sapience stated that the win chance was highly evelated for the purpose of testing, but didn't win anything in either lottery. I know Brandywine is probably the most populous server, so even with an elevated win chance it was perhaps not likely that I would win anything, so just wondering if this was WAI or if this indicates any issues that you need to know about.

To be clear, this is not at all a whine about not winning, just wanting to help ensure the lotteries are good to go when they are fully back.

I don't get this message on my characters, but on MyLotro 'Home' and I can't do anything on MyLotro at all, except click on the forum, so there's no way I can add the Lottery widget in order to use it.

The widget does not work for everyone. Not sure why.

Thanks. We checked on the back end and its working as intended. Some of the lotteries that ended today were scaled back to something closer to 'normal' and the lotteries that started about 30 minutes ago are also set to more 'normal' win chances.

Mylotro does not show a home page for me and when I can get onto my account home page no add widget button is there. Used Firefox,IE9 and chrome still no home page or widget button/lottery widget. Using a direct link to the home/lottery page enables me to enter the lotteries but no widget and or home page is ridiculous.

Just wondering.. Since my character info wont update since RoI release, I guess I won't be able to enter any 66+ lotteries that might show up, even though my character is lvl 75?

Anyone else won any lotteries and received somewhat frugal amounts of silver? Are they still just testing them? I had a 32 mini win lottery of the free peoples, she got a pretty nice travelers cloak, a skirmish marks tome, 14 athelas potions (seemed like a strange amount, I think it used to be 50) and a treasure chest full of 2 silver. Oh, and my 27 burg won the skirmish marks lottery and got 1 silver. I don't care about the amount but it seems it may be bugged. Think it probably should have been 200 and 100 as in the past. Just curious if others had noticed this. Thanks.
