Hi Community. Is it possible/legal to have more than 1 forum account? Reason i ask is that i have 3 lifetime accounts ingame , and i wondered if i could have a forum account attached for each account.
Thx. in advance.

While I am sure you can have more than one forum account, I believe the current policy is that you are only allowed to post on one of them.
http://www.lotro.com/community/700-communityguidelines

Players who are found posting from more than one account may be asked to declare a primary account and posting privileges will be removed from all other accounts. Secondary accounts created for the purpose of trolling or otherwise violating these Community Guidelines may result in the permanent ban of any and all associated Community and Game accounts, at the Turbine Community Team's discretion.

Maybe its because i see plenty of it, i naturally assume nobody does anything to stop multi boxing.
6 boxers rep farming, seen it, wasnt happy it was in my area at the time.
/follow questing
1v1 fights with your own chars on the moors to gain rank
being killed by macro using multi boxers, being ganked by 1 player, not fun.
Clearly everyone opinions are different on such things, and generally so long as they dont mess with my gameplay i dont care, but all of the above could be considered 1 or more of the terms i used earlier from one perspective or another.
Now, ive heard in more than one channel that these practices are not illegal, but are 'frowned upon' which is the same as 'do what you want we cant stop you' as far as i can tell, if that view is not correct let me know, because i'll quite happily report multi-boxers who cross my path if its not allowed at all.
If of course it is allowed, then my previous conclusion stands on its own merit, its a very peculiar world we live in
NB: I did look, but couldnt find any official stance on this issue, but since theres a number of not-deleted/not-locked threads in the forums explaining HOW to multi box i'm guessing the frowning goes on.
There's nothing wrong with multi-boxing as long as each character is attended and can answer tells. It's not cheating or exploiting, and it doesn't violate any part of the EULA.
Even the rank farming is insignificant now that you can just buy Creep skills from the Store.

Turbine never done anything to me. I think I have made 7 posts from Yula0001. I never notice that I forgot to switch until after I hit post.
A number of people have a dummy account for posting. That way they not sending their user id or password over the net to use the web services.

As others have pointed out, you can have multiple LOTRO accounts, we simply ask that you only post from a single account. So, sure, you can enter all of your other characters into lotteries, just designate one of your accounts as your posting account and don't use the others.![]()
