No one is insulting anyone, and everyone is entitled to critique of the winners. People just want to know that their hard work was well deserved, and the fact that the only images that won were ones from early in the contest make it seem otherwise. There really is noting to be done about it now, but would it have been so hard to have all the images posted somewhere?

For banner, 0/10 original seems abit harsh. (considering what rest of entries where) >_<

I don't have photo-shop, and ms paint really sucks for editing pictures. And after taking a glance at face book entries..
A real life banner in my front yard just screamed "original". as if the orcs had been there.

I read rules several times., but Mc Donalds and Hardess wouldn't let me put it out front.... (alot of people told me in front of your house is kinda meh. But I couldn't get permission for anywhere else, not even local Park. =/

The girl with spilt milk isn't very original ether?? There was 2 other entries with stuff spilling and forming white hands, That actually look like The White Hand. >_<

Fridge food, Time Magazine and Bathroom room, Mona Lisa are all well done.
If Original was part of the contest rules, then few of winners should be replaced. >_<

I'm having a South Park moment of Shenanigans. >_<

Re: Your White Hand Contest Enrty?

    Hi All;

Here is the entry I submitted (at half scale) for the White Hand contest:

While I agree with all here that we should not be berating other users' entries on the forums, I do agree that the apparent circumstances under which this contest was carried out seems...skewed.

While I won't single out any single entry that has been posted by Turbine as a "winner", I will state that I find it...odd to see winning entries with blatant misspellings and unauthorized photos (i.e. not taken/created by the submitter as his or her own, original work) as is specified in the contest rules.

For not seeing my own entry place, I say "Oh well--surely there are better entries". To see only entries that were pre-picked by whomever maintains the FB page as being the final winners, I am suspicious. To see entries that are non-qualifying per Turbine's own submission rules, I take offense.

With that being said, at least I can share the entry I created so that more than myself and my family can enjoy (or dislike--whatever floats your boat) what I took the time to create.

Do please continue to post your own entries so that we may all enjoy them without censorship.

    Thank you!

Re: Your White Hand Contest Enrty?

Hey guys, I just want to step in here for a moment and clarify a few things.

We updated the Facebook page with some of our favorite images from the contest daily right up to the end of the contest. Each day, we went through all of our submissions and pick out a new one to showcase that we believed was one of our favorites. The judging was anything but easy -- we had so many great entries that it was really hard to narrow down our favorites, and even harder to choose winners. However, we did go through every single image that was submitted to the contest. (And, trust me, there were a lot!)

However, that said, keep posting your submissions! It's great to see all of them, and it goes to show how much creativity went into this contest!
