Odd Lottery Behavior 3/5/12

My Level 11 & 12 alts on Elendilmir have been entered in both the L10-15 lottery and the Level 16-30 lottery, while my three Level 16-30 characters (17, 24 and 26) have not been entered into the 16-30 lottery. Perhaps a check on Lottery Parameters is in order?

Three most likely possibilities...

1 - You have not logged into those other characters in a significant period of time so they are being excluded.
2 - MyLOTRO is lagging behind and sees those characters as being some other level.
3 - The characters do not show up at all in MyLOTRO so the system doesn't seem them or add them when you click "enter all".

Confirmed on multiple accounts on mutliple servers; one of the 'unentered' characters in today's lotteries won one of the lotteries on Sunday (edit - corrected from Saturday to Sunday), please check the lottery parameters!

I'll confirm characters arent showing which were elligable for the last set. And have been recently played. And that on my second account characters I havent logged in in even longer were elligable.. Something is definately amiss.

This is also true for my account my level 10 to 15 chars are entered again into the level 16-30 lottery and my level 16 champ is know where to be seen on the list and has been 16 for a while now. Looks like the parameters as the previous post said have been set wrong

Three most likely possibilities...

1 - These characters have all been played recently; many as recent as last night.
2 - The characters' levels are correctly listed on my Characters screen, and the L16+ charcters are not entered into the lower level lottery either, while the L10-15 characters are entered into both the L10-15 lotter _AND_ the L16-30 lottery
3 - The characters show up in the Characters screen with the appropriate levels, and one of them won a L16-30 lottery Sunday but can not be entered in the same level lottery today.

Sorry, but I'm betting serious money that the lottery parameter for the L16-30 lottery on Monday has been entered incorrectly (a dread 'cut-n-paste' oops). What wager are you up for? <grin>

Confirmed - my level 25 Burg has no lottery option showing today. She has not changed levels in a couple of weeks, and was eligable for the regular weekend lottery.

My level 16-30 characters are an exact duplicate of my 10-15 characters. A lot of my characters are missing

Just confirming this for me as well. It seems that the Lottery of the free peoples (lvl 16-30) was set to the same level parameters as the Welcome Wagon lottery (Lvl 10-15)

Mine too. My level 22 Minstrel and 24 Champion are missing from lottery.

Confirmed also on Landroval. My six 10 - 12 characters showed up for both and my 17, 25, and 28 level characters did not show up at all. The 25 was played yesterday as was the 28. The 17 within the week.

All characters show up correctly in MyLOTRO and were in the correct Lotteries yesterday.

Same problem here, I got two toons on Snowbourn server that I definitely played today (a level 21 LM and 27 mini) and they were eligible two days ago but I cannot see them on lottery entry screen today. Also, my level 14 hunter can enter for both welcome wagon and free peoples lottery which he's supposed to enter only welcome wagon one

Same here. I have toons on both Landroval and Laurelin who should be able to enter the 16-30 lottery but can't, but my 10-15 toons can.

Confirmed on Snowbourn also. Definitely a bug of some sort.

Same here. My low level characters (10-14) on Belegaer, Morthond and Landroval are listed both on Welcome Wagon Lottery (10-15) and Lottery of the Free Peoples (16-30).

Missing a L21 and a L23 on Maiar (Lottery of the free peoples).
Both are logged in this weekend and listed in the characters menu.

Higher level chars on Maiar (35, 72, 75) have no problem.

Same issue here. I've got 4 alts on Estel that are in the lv 16 to 20ish area but are not available for the associated lottery. All have been enterable and have won before. Also of note is that my lv 66 on Estel is eligible for entry, so it's not a server based problem. I also logged on with all of the "missing" characters a week or so ago.

I get the same error on my account for characters played within the last week. The basic error that occored is:

Lottery of the Free Peoples is for toons of level 16-30. The Lottery was created for toons 10-15 by mistake so only characters of the lower level range may enter.

Looks like plenty of people have confirmed it, but I'll add mine in case it helps.

My level 10-15 characters get entered for both their correct lottery and for the one which says it is for level 16-30 characters. My level 16-30 characters do not appear at all. Characters over level 30 are entered into their correct lotteries.

All characters have been played recently. All are on Imladris, though I doubt that matters since this looks like a hiccup in the lottery system and probably effects all servers equally.

I'm not sure where the best place to post this is, sorry if this isn't the right place.

Today I'm having issues with the Lottery of the Free Peoples. It's showing the same characters that I get under the "Welcome Wagon Lottery" - in other words, it's not picking up the proper-level characters for that lottery.

That's the only lottery that's giving me a problem. Is anyone else seeing this, or is it just me?

Thanks Lebenedh‎ for bringing this up.. I just checked my lottery and my 16-30 now are available. I did not even know about the issue due to the fact I just click all and send LOL +rep

Ah, so it's not just me then. I leveled my Hunter alt on Eldar from 24 to 25 last night (after logging on because I'd JUST won the Free People's lotto that ended last night) and she's not eligible for that lotto again today.
