The six bag was 995 on beta. And the released tp prices prior to the expansion stated the same information. The six bag is 995. http://casualstrolltomordor.com/2012...store-pricing/ I don't believe they tried to mislead anyone. I do agree, however, that 995 is a high price for one bag.

But rest assured that I'll never spend another cent on Lotro. I decided not to preorder Rohan, and just bought the quest pack. So glad I did now.

As for the 6th bag. It is currently not available. We discovered an issue with former VIPs who purchased the bag but were not receiving it. Because of the way former VIPs bags are configured as opposed to how they are configured for a person who purchased them all from the LOTRO Store, purchasing the 6th bag was causing the system to confuse it with a 4th or 5th bag, which a former VIP already has. As a result the bag wasn't displaying.

We believe we have the root cause of the issue and we're currently working on the best way to resolve it. Once we do we'll be putting the 6th bag back into the store.

The pricing of all storage has been adjusted for consistency. Instead of a sliding cost as you purchased more storage we've made all storage costs the same. So Bag 4 and Bag 6 cost the same, instead of increasing it each level and making bag 6 considerably more expensive than ag 4 or 5. Because we made this change we put the older bags (4 and 5) on sale at their previous prices so returning players or those who had not yet purchased their bags would still be able to purchase them at the old prices during the Rohan launch period.

Why would anyone buy bags four and five in order to buy bag six? If you want bags and don't yet have four and five, then those are as valuable to you as six is, and being on sale just means you still have a chance to get them at the lower price. (Price increase + sale to previous price = advance warning that the price is about to go up.) If you already have bags four and five, then you have no reason to buy them and should just wait for bag six to be put back into the Store.

Former VIP have 5 bags but the bag 4 and 5 are available in the store. THAT cause a lot of mislead purchased.

Turbine is yet to give a clear message on that 6th bag for former VIP.

When they will put it back in the store do Former VIP with 5 bags (in-game) but bags 4 and 5 in the store will have to purchase bag 4 and 5 b4 beeing able to get bag 6 or ONLY bag 6.

I'm not sure I follow the argument, and based on the replies I'm seeing I'm not alone.

You posit that we raised the prices to gouge players, but lowered the price back to the original price by putting them on sale for 50% off. So end result is 0 change to players buying these bags right now, today. You disprove your own claim.

Further more, checking the date and time of this post, you made it after this had been explained to you in another thread.

I'll make it clear again, then close this as the purpose of the thread is pretty clear.

All bags had their prices set to be the same. Instead of the sliding scale players disliked so much where more storage cost more money. Now a bag, regardless of whether it's 4, 5, or 6 costs 995. Because we did not want to have players who may have taken a break from the game or who were waiting to purchase all the bags at once, to take a significant hit in costs, we put the bags that had previously been 495, but are now 995, on sale for 495. End result ZERO increase in prices for those who came back and bought the bags. 0.

Now, in a couple of weeks those sales will expires. Absolutely. On October 29th, the sale will end and then yes ALL bags will have a flat cost. So a bag will be 995 regardless of whether its bag 4 or 5 or 6.

Also, over 2200 items in the LOTRO Store were adjusted. About 16% of those saw a price increase of some amount. They're currently on sale for the same amount off as they were increased. Until October the 29th.

The other 84% either saw no change in price, an increase in stack size, or a drop in price.
