Where Are my Six Year Anniversary Rewards?

Yes, I have set the frame by right clicking the frame, choosing Custom Character Portrait, and the Six Year Frame. This is what I have:

You have disabled the rendering of your character portrait to improve client performance. It is fairly common for people to lower their settings in order to get more responsive game play when doing group instances or running around in the Moors.

You need to turn on 3-d character portraits. Maybe someone else remembers exactly where to find this particular option.

Initially I had the proper frame. Out of curiosity, I switched to a different frame, then set graphics to low, then reenabled the 6year frame and then had the odd (but interesting) frame.

Changing back to medium or higher graphics did not return the proper frame. Neither did logging out of the character and back in. Neither did restarting the client.

Beware low graphics?

if players with multiple high-level alts were to get three lootbox keys ever year per alt that would probably affect the Store's key selling revenue adversely.

Those keys are bound to the character that gets them, so you could make new alts to unlock steel etc bound boxes but they are level locked to unlock them, so you would have to level them just to unlock the boxes.

Ditto to OP no 6 year rewards on my main account but I did get them on my second which is only eligible for the 5th year this year. It got two boxes once ported to Bree not one, one the 5th year and one the festive fireworks. Both accounts have the GTC bug

it doesn't look like it is anything to do with the EU-VIP/GTC issue, the person posting before you is Canadian and if you look two posts up the poster there is from Northern Colorado and they haven't received their gift, this is a more global issue i think.

Yep - my toddler wanted attention & those posts came in between me drafting the post and hitting send!

We're looking into this. The first suggestion is to try logging out of the game, shutting down the client, and logging back in. This hasn't helped everyone, but it did a few so please try that first.

We're currently investigating possible reasons for this. We'll let you know when we have a solution.

I have the same strange frame. I did get the right box with the warsteed cosmetic, and I am not an EU player. It's not a bad frame, but I would like the 'real' one. Very odd.

I know it's a silly question but have you set your frame display by right clicking your name and selecting the 6yr anniversary frame? you never know lol.

Does the 3D portrait thing have anything to do with the frame being radically different from the one shown?

I have my graphics on the highest settings, and I still get the weird frame.

I am wondering if this odd frame is some kind of default frame and some of us just aren't getting the reward. I am just happy I got the warhorse cosmetic, as it seems many others aren't. I did send a bug report.

There is definitely a link between the TP Allowance, Anniversary Items and the EU (ex Codies) Players

My main account (EU) is now 6yr Lifer have not received ANY Anniversary Items on any of my toons

My US account received his 1yr box

So it's related to the TP bug that Turbine have claimed is being worked on diligently - To which I respond with a squeek, akin to a schoolgirl!

Anyhow, submit a ticket and you'll get your rewards on your next log-in (6 year frame included) Guess you'll just have to make do until the bug is squashed

Have tou tried turning on 3D Portraits?

The 3D Portrait setting may be the culprit, but turning it on does not change the portrait. Logging out and in after turning the setting on (also tried restarting the game) caused no change either. I also tried logging into a different character after the 3D setting was switched to on and I had restarted the game, which did not solve the problem.

If it is the 3D setting, the odd part is that I had the five year portrait with 3D turned off, and I can still change back to that one as well as the other anniversary portraits and the Yule-Festival frame. So the two settings shouldn't have been tied together for the six year portrait.

Does anyone know what frame I have, since it isn't the six year reward? I haven't seen it before.

Tried re-logging but it didn't work. I'll give it 24 hours in case they hot-fix it, and then submit a ticket.

Submit a ticket where? I tried through the account issues website selecting anniversary rewards and got an email:

I have logged and relogged (complete exit) numerous times with several of my characters. Still no rewards. This is terrible, Sapience. I am extremely disappointed in Turbine and am very close to canceling my sub and leaving LOTRO for good if this issue is not resolved soon.

It's not the 3D setting, or a US/EU difference. When I said "that's what mine looks like", I was referring to the frame - I always have the 3D portrait set. I did get the 6-year war-pony cosmetics.

Per Sapience's suggestion I logged out and killed the quick-start background thingy from the task-bar pull-down, got back in, and my 6-year frame is still the one surmounted by 11 stars on a blue field (looks like USA bunting) and silver leaves on the sides of the level below, and no gold leaf clusters... i.e. like Rufkin's picture but with my 3D photo inside.

logged in, got the Bree anniversary quest, completed it and get 4 sets of fireworks, nothing else. I asked why i didn't get my 6 year anniversary stuff, people said to log out and log back in, so i did, still nothing. I then logged completely out of the game and back into my main freep still got nothing, logged onto an alt freep and got some stuff but still no 6 year portrait. logged over to my creep on another server and still no portrait. my main freep is on Meneldor and my main creep is on Elendilmir, i don't think this is just a EU problem.

Quick update. This appears to be a date range issue on our end (as relates to 6th year anniversary rewards). We're looking into it and will keep you posted.

As for the confusion about years 1-5; if you already earned those rewards last year, you will not receive them again this year. They are one time rewards.
