Oh I agree & then last year we had harvest festival early which that ended on October 14th! Kinda weird not having that over Halloween.

With thanks to Goldenstar pointing it out in a comment in my blog: The calendar says "tentatively Summer festival". So Summer festival after all instead of Farmer's faire?

Oh wow, they switched it around this year. Just wish it'd be a little longer.

Two different festivals. Farmer's Faire will come later this summer.

Thank you Sapience for the clearification! And woot! I'm looking forward to both festivals! All I can hope is the time between the two is a bit longer than last year.

Currently I believe there is slightly less than a month between them.

Oh, that sounds good! I seem to remember from last year there was a week (maybe a few days longer) between the two festivals. For me that was way too short. A month is a very good time Some time to cool down from the Summer festivities and some time to warm up for the Farmer's faire. Couldn't be any better, I think

Last year it was 10 days between the 2. That is just way too close together.

Please do not start harvest so early this year like last year.

Can you ask the team in charge of these festival events to please add an out of combat requirement to use the daily festival teleport quest? Unscrupulous players are using this ability to escape combat in the ettenmoors, as well as cause various anti-exploit mode "questionable raid/instance" tactics to bug out NPCs in pve-land.

Speaking of summer fest, I hope the keg races is fixed this year. Last year there was a problem with the npcs just disappearing.

They did. See the patch notes for Update 11.1. Problem is, it screwed up a bunch of PvE quests that are designed to get you out while in combat (e.g. Epic III.3.10). They need to either reverse that change (why hold the 80% hostage to the <10%?) or restrict the change to the Ettenmoors.

I thought race fixing was frowned upon?

Sapience, why is there no waffle recipe in game? Surely some industrious hobbit has invented a waffle iron by now! YOU MUST CORRECT THIS.
Agreed... Must have my hobbit cook make some chicken and waffles

    Hello, New Forums.

Why isn't there a special part of the forums that just has to do with festivals or the candy jars at Turbine? I mean, that's all that's important right?

I'm afraid you'll have to visit Belgium to obtain that recipe. Unfortunately, that region has not yet been opened to LOTRO players. You'll also need to go there to obtain your favorite Brussels sprouts recipes.
