Monster Play FLYING bug and In-Game Support

Hey all,

First of all, even though this is my first forum post, I have played Lotro for a couple of years now. Not sure why I can only post on the "New players" thread, but it's probably because I just logged in to forum for the first time.

Anyway, I experienced a rather entertaining bug playing on monster play with my defiler, and had a couple of questions. First, I can't find what commands or whatever I can use to contact a GM in the game, and I've never had the need, so I'm kind of in the dark on this. I also don't know how to submit a bug report, as I've never had to do that either.

Well, anyway, what happened was, I was in an OP, climbing the stairs, and I right-clicked to re-align my screen. However, what seemed to happen, was that I right clicked directly on the door to dof, THROUGH the wall. All of a sudden, I was in the dof, and was jumping in the air. Just flying, pretty much, although it was really jerky. Did /unstuck, and 1 minute later, was back in grams. Then, I was running towards TA, and it happened again, although this time it was just me running one minute down the hill, the next, just kind of jumping, floating into the air. I was messing around, seems that I can't move up or down much, so I'm always at the height I was at on the hill. I took some pictures, but I don't know how to load them. Anyway, it's actually a pretty neat bug. With my arms stretched out, it seems like I'm just being carried by invisible eagles in the Battle of the Five Armies. So, can anyone tell me A) how to contact a GM in game? B) How to do a bug report, and C) Am I the only one with this bug???

F7 brings up the Bug report window. Click on the report a bug window at the bottom of the screen.
Fill out you information. Keep in mind, that you don't actually have to include any personal information. You can just call your self Name Name, with the email address of Name@Name.Name

Alrighty, thank you for the info. Just to double check, is it a rule of the community guidelines that I have to use my real name, or is just an obvious fake one ok to use for a bug report? I don't want to accidentally do the wrong thing and get banned or something :P

Also, has anyone else experienced this bug? It's actually really cool, flying above the trees, spying on the freeps where they can't get you, etc. Not sure if you can replicate it or what, but basically I was jumping on air. Anyway, if anyone else experiences the same bug, it would be cool to find out. Sort of a way to see which people have superpowers.....

Yes, others have had this bug before. I seem to recall someone being able to ride their horse in the sky before, think it was around Enedwaith or Dunland release. Naturally, a lot of Flying Mount jokes.

Kehleyr, last night I had a similar bug. Went into the Bree Jail and was falling over and over. There was a sound of splashing, and my wife saw me swimming on the ceiling. The only thing I could do was /unstuck but as soon as I went into a building again I was falling. I ended up exiting and restarting the puter, didn't have this again. My big issue was not being able to load the bug report screen. It was a white window for a couple minutes, but that was all. This is the third time I've tried to do a bug report and not been able to get it to open.

Sweet, thanks! I submitted a bug and everything. FYI, I actually kind of like the bug, could you pass on to the devs this message: "Flying = fun"

In response to Palantir, stuff like the store and bug tool are always SUPER slow to load for me, I took about 100k off an outpost cg with my defiler just waiting :P. I don't know if it's my computer or what, but I always have to surf the web or read a book waiting for it to load.

Did you try reporting from the forum, as opposed to using the ingame tool?

Some people simply have trouble using the ingame tool, but are usually okay with the forum report form. You could try contacting tech support to see if they have any tips for the getting the bug report tool to work better ingame.

Unless, of course, you're on a Mac. We know the tool does not work well ingame for MacOS users, which we are working on.

mostly just replying so I can finally get enough posts to get access to the important topics.

But I've also had a flying glitch that someone involved a forced horse dismount. It was pretty cool. took pictures and posted them on the Son of Numenor website.
